I liked the construction of the tree. It is made with hinges. You just fold the tree out at 3 different levels. And then move the branches around until it looks like a tree. (I suspect the hinges will make it easier to install next year). This product took a along time to assemble. And I mean hours. But I wanted a very natural looking tree. So I bent the branches out in all different directions. And I mean all the branches. And I came back to it on several days in a row to make it perfect. Now with decorations on the tree, it looks almost as good as the best one we have ever had! And, you do not have to water it so it lasts longer than a real tree. We have a friend who leaves her artificial tree up all year long and calls it the birthday tree. But she has lots of children! If you are not as interested in appearance, you can spent less time putting it together by bending less branches. But the tree will not look as good as it could. But I warn you, the artificial trees I have purchased, this and precious years, are much harder to assemble than a tree right off the lot. The artificial trees cost about the same as real ones. But if you use them even twice, it pays for itself. If you use it over a number of years, you are really saving a lot of money! We originally purchased a 5' tree. When we put it up the tree, we were not happy with the appearance. So we sent it back. We now have the 6' tree which looks great. This not a Prime item, so we had to pay for shipping it return the 5' tree. It did not cost that much to return, less than $20, but as a Prime customer with no returns fees, the return fee for this product stung me a bit.     • Better than I expected

I wasn’t sure what to expect for the price but I was pleasantly surprised. Comes in three pieces with a stand. Our old artificial tree took a long time to assemble. This one is much easier. If you take your time to adjust all the branches it will look great. Instead of putting all three sections together at once, I started with the bottom and adjusted all the branches. Then added middle and did the same, followed by the top. To add a star we improvised attaching it, using a small piece of hose. As some reviews note, when you remove the tree from the box , there are a lot of needles. Easy to sweep up. Once we put it together we were able to decorate and move it around without any more needles falling. It’s sturdier than I expected. And with lights and decorations it looks great. ... show more

    • Good Little Fake Tree

I opted for a fake tree this year due to the unavailability of potted trees in our my area. This is only the second artificial tree I have bought. The previous one had lights prewired which failed after the first Christmas. The one downside to this tree is that the needles seem to come off every time you handle it. I also predict that there will eventually be a failure with the branches on the upper half of the tree due to fatigue but hopefully it makes it thru at least four seasons. The tree comes with a stand, an upper and lower half. The stand comes with set screws which where unnecessary in my case. The lower half of the tree fits snuggly in the stand. The branches on the lower half are all hinged and fold down easily. The upper half is wrapped metal rods that you bend down. You then bend all the tips into an arrangement that disguises the true nature of the thing. If you do this properly, you have to be pretty close to the tree to determine its fake. It goes up and comes down pretty easily. We placed ours on an end table and put a tree skirt around it. Pretty happy with the purchase under the circumstances. ... show more

My husband and I have always had real Christmas trees. Due to a few different circumstances, we debated on getting an artificial one this year. We looked through different ones and after comparing prices and reviews decided to give this one a try. I really expected to be disappointed and at first I was. When you take it out of the box, all the branches are tightly bunched. I was expecting to have to fluff the branches but I didn't think there was any way possible this was going to fill out. I'm not going to lie, it was time consuming but well worth it. I casually worked on it over a few hours but I'm guessing it would take 45-60 minutes if you worked straight through, less if you aren't as picky as I am or if you made it a family/group project. And I'm confident it will take far less time next year. When I finished it was hard to tell it was an artificial tree. It filled in very nicely. It's very easy to assemble but, as I said, it will take some time to get the branches fluffed out. The individual sections have a little weight to them but I have a bad shoulder and still had no problem putting it together.     • Beautiful "full" Spruce tree!!

This is going to be the third Christmas that my wife and I spend together after we got married! The first two Christmas we set up a small 4ft cheap tree from target. We didn’t have much room or money to spend on something nicer. So now that we’re a little more stable we decided to buy a larger bigger tree! This tree arrived quickly and in a nice box where we can store it after Christmas! I was really surprised but how full the tree is! Most artificial trees are not as full and you can usually see right past the branches. But if you take your time and “fluff” the tree up then you will have zero issues! The spruce look is one of my favorites and this really looks like it. I absolutely love how easy the set up of the tree is! Our previous tree was NOT a three piece set and we had to color code each individual branch and line it up. Very tome consuming. Overall this is a great tree!
