I work from home at a computer all day and have neck/shoulder pain- my chiropractor said to watch posture especially at the computer all day. I order this product and just love it! Its comfortable, well made, easy to put on, and really helps me sit straight. The hard plastic insert is a great support feature. I find myself much more conscious of posture even when I'm not wearing it. P.S.     • Great all-around posture support
I ordered several posture correcting support ranging from $15 to $65 and this one from Shaperky was right in the middle pricing wise, but was my favorite of the bunch to actually use. The quality was noticeably better than the cheaper ones, but right up there with the more expensive ones. But where this support really stands out from all of the others is the adjustability and comfort. It is the easiest to adjust while wearing (I make a lot of minor adjustments if I'm eating, changing from sitting/standing, etc.). Having separate straps for adjusting fit (velcro strap across torso) and tension on the shoulders (velcro bands located on either side below your armpits) is such a nice feature that is missing from all other supports I tried. The mechanism for pulling the arm straps down to prevent them from digging into my armpits and creating discomfort is another feature noticeably absent from the other supports I tried. It's clear that a lot of care and research went into the design of this support and it really makes all the difference. The only downside I've found with this support is that since it has the option for the hard support along the spine (which I personally don't use), there is a lot of extra material in that area that can be a bit awkward if sitting back in a chair or laying down, but getting into those positions is generally against the point of wearing this in the first place so it doesn't really matter IMO. I ended up returning all other posture supports except this one, which I keep at my desk and use regularly, and a basic $15 support that I keep at my bed for the occasions where I feel I need some support while watching TV and am too lazy to go to my desk to get my main one. ... show more

I bought this for my husband and uncle and this has changed their lives. My husband started working from home and his posture changed, causing him pain and I was able to notice a difference. My uncle is now retired and this has helped with a lot of support, considering he is very active. Their posture is better, no more back pain/discomfort. This product was amazing. My husband was tending to walk a bit bent over as he passed 94 years old. This posture corrector worked very well and was extremely comfortable. Primary issue is that it chafes my armpits, even with a shirt underneath. Helps with posture a bit, so I'll keep trying it out.

I got this posture corrector as a response to many people telling me that my back was not straight enough and I look crouched over from always being behind my computer. I started using this in conjunction with working out. Bought this product because the stiff metal bar in the back brace gives me the comfort that it will keep my back straight. Overall, it has been very helpful. I have been using it for about 8 hours per day for over a month. No back pain, no issues. At the end of the day, I do feel the tension around the armpit areas. I think for the price, it has an overall good value. Makes me feel more confident that I am using a product that actually has a straight stiff metal bar in the back knowing that my posture will always be correct no matter how I move – and yes, my back is straight while bending over. It even comes with a waist belt expansion. The only downside is that the waist belt doesn’t fall near my waist as I am a tall person. ... show more
