I'm a big girl and I was pleasantly surprised at how comfortable it was. I'm 5'10" and I could comfortably stretch out on my back or stomach to sleep. Used it for a week long camping trip and it's worth every penny. I do recommend putting a thermal blanket down on the cot if sleeping in cold weather. I couldn't afford the fancy zippered mosquito nets, so I duct taped four 1" wooden dowels to the frame (one each corner) and threw a cheap mosquito net over it; worked perfectly. Easy to get on/off. Easy to set up and take down. But too heavy to take on a hike. Highly recommend.

Received a week ago. Based on review I was worried about assembly by myself, although I had a retired lumberjack there on backup. At first neither of us could get it together at all. But after we realized that the end bar was upside down, so the slots did not match up on the end of the cot, I was able to put it together alone. I think we stretched the canvas out and that was the fix. Otherwise the assembly was just unfolding the cost with the legs attached, sliding the two endbars into canvas sleeve, and popping the end bars into place. After practice I would say two minutes. It is way more comfortable than we expected. It has enough give to feel like a firm mattress, and is very quiet when I move around on it. Beside assembly concerns, I wanted a cot that would fit the Husband (lumberjack), who is 6'4" . He said it was comfortable, and it was wide and long enough. I have seen other cots for sale similar to this one by Cabelas, for about $200.

I bought this to replace a Coleman II military cot that I just bought which is impossible to set up. This cot is a breeze to set up. It’s quite heavy, but once you drag it to location, it’s very nice. It’s not stretched as tight as the Coleman II so it doesn’t seem like you’re sleeping on a rock.

This cot is on the heavier side. It is not the easiest to carry around. There are other cots that are lighter at the same size but this one is pretty solid. I am 6’6” and 240 and I have no issues fitting on it and don’t have any worries of it giving out on me. I would but again. The only draw back is it is more on the heavy side.

Returned. The pick on the side was not sized right, it was too short and didn't fit. The end bars stick out too far, bumped and hurt my knee twice in one weekend. Since then I ordered another cot and didn't have these problems.
