I use a CPAP machine and I need something to create white noise to cover the sound of the CPAP. For years, I’ve used a small fan to create the noise. The problem is I don’t always want a fan blowing, especially when it’s colder. This machine does the trick and as an added bonus, it is small. This device easily fits in my suitcase so that I have that white noise while traveling. This unit is easy to use and has multiple sound options.

Absolute crap. I bought this because I have one that I purchased in the past and absolutely loved it. I bought a second one 4 years later for my daughter. We decided to buy a third to keep on our boat so we wouldn't have to transfer because we can't live without it. This one has the same name brand but the unit is absolute crap. The buttons are shady and when you push one all of them move. It's basically falling apart right out of the box. The sound is very inconsistent with lots of clicking and popping sounds and cutting out. I wish I had opened the box sooner. I would have returned it immediately. Unfortunately, I'm past the return window so I'm stuck with this hunk of junk, but I wanted to make sure to write a review so no one else gets stuck with it. Video is what the old version looked like which is my white one and the new version looks like which is the black one.

The sound is great, especially the thunderstorm, but the power button is tricky. I bought two of these at the same time and both have the same problem with the power button. Sometimes it turns on with one touch, other times you have to hold the power button down and manipulate your work.

We adopted a rescue dog 3 months ago and he is wonderful, but he howls when a person, dog, or vehicle drives or walks by. During the day it's just annoying, but when we're sleeping, it was awful. He could hear and/or sense them even though we are on the second floor and our blinds are drawn. We tried a few things that didn't work and someone we know suggested using a white noise machine. It has been nearly miraculous and VERY effective. Whether he is sleeping in his crate or in bed with us (the vast majority of the time), he has only barked once since using it. There is someone who lives several doors down from us who works odd hours and sometimes comes or goes at 11:00 PM and another person who sometimes leaves in the wee hours and park in our parking lot not far from our home. It's also nice that there are several options for sounds so you can choose white noise, rain, and others. We haven't traveled with it yet, but we are going to a dog-friendly B&B next month and will bring our doggie, and this gizmo. It is small and plugs in easily. Highly recommend it.

I've now had 2 of these. The white one i bought years ago was perfect in every way but the light on it. I just put a sticker over that and it was great. After 4 moves and multiple vacations, it suddenly would only do ocean and summer night sounds so my nephew took it because he loves those sounds; I have to have white noise to sleep. I give the older model one 5 stars. I immediately went on to buy another one of these because the first was so amazing. I got black because it was a dollar cheaper. I really like the upgraded design and no light! However, every single sound has scratching or a chirp that is consistent and ANNOYING! The chirp on the white noise is so bad, I can't use it. 😫 I give this one 1 star. I've requested a replacement in the hopes this is a fluke, defective one. I'll update if there's any change on the replacement one's sounds.

I used to keep a fan next to the bed to provide while noise while I slept. For traveling, it's always been somewhat problematic. I read about this product while traveling last week and had it delivered before I got home to try it out. Man, why haven't I done this much earlier. I tried all the sounds immediately and agree with some other reviewers about the rain sound. No repeating, just smooth sounding rain to help me drift off and keep my asleep. It's only been a week and I already love it. The trickiest part is placing it in a place where it sounds best in the bedroom. But if all my troubles are such, life would be wonderful. I love this thing.
