  • I love this machine!
Size: 17.8Lbs Color: White Grey
Now that I have had the machine a bit longer, I just wanted to update my review and I STILL LOVE IT!!! The only minor thing that I would like to have on this machine is a beep to indicate when it goes from wash to rinse. Since I don't dry my clothes in a tumble dryer, I like to add a bit of fabric softener to the rinse. I have watched it through enough cycles that I can fairly accurately set a timer that comes within a couple of minutes of being accurate for the start of the rinse cycle. This just a minor thing and truly at this point the only thing I can think of to improve on it. True, I have only had it for 2 weeks but after hesitating for a while because it's a little bit of money there and if I had to send it back it would be pretty bulky. But I have moved into this condo that does not have an end unit washer and dryer from a home where I've had a washer and dryer for 30 years or more. The complex does have a six unit washer and dryer room but it's coin operated machines and just a hassle of having to go over there and see if anybody else is using the machines and then sit there and wait to set a timer so that I don't forget to get the clothes in and out of the washer and dryer because someone else might be waiting to use it. I am single if that makes a difference to anyone reading this. I do normally about two loads of laundry a week and neither one of them is particularly big. My laundry items do not tend to be particularly soiled either. But as a trial I did use some towels to wash and dry my car and then I used some cleaning cloths around the house and some pretty dirty surfaces like in the tracks of windows and things like that. I wanted to test the cleaning capacity. I'm this little machine using warm water I believe got those really dirty things cleaner than my big agitator washer ever did. Maybe it's just the honeymoon phase lol but it did get them clean with no problem. There is just something soothing to me about watching and listening to this little powerhouse. As far as getting it set up that was just a little bit of a challenge for me because I don't have good hand eye coordination and putting things together and setting them up no matter what the item is always puts me on edge a little bit because it can turn out to be very frustrating. Other than learning to get the angle right to screw the hose connection onto my sink faucet, I didn't have any issues getting this set up and once I got the fuel for that it's no problem either. As far as the drain hose I just flip it over into the sink and put a piece of masking tape to hold it and haven't had any problems with it coming loose or leaking. I haven't tried to use it in my bathroom because the sink faucet there doesn't have the appropriate type connector on the end and again I'm not handy for changing things like that. If I ever have someone come over or a plumber coming for some other reason who can change that end of the faucet for me I'm quite sure it would work fine in the bathroom too. But even though I have a very small kitchen, I just make sure I'm doing the laundry when I don't have anything else to do in the kitchen. I like this machine so well that I am going to research and see if they make a big model on the off chance that I ever live in a house again or a place where I would have room for a bigger one. No it doesn't heat dry the items but heat actually damages fabric and I've just always used it because that's what dryers in the United States have. But this spin dry does a very very good job and I have a clothes rack that I already had and I just hang towels and things over it and point a fan at it and I would say it takes less than 2 hours to dry a regular size heavy bath towel. Now it is summer time in the South where I live so the air conditioner is running and that probably contributes to the quick drying time. In the winter of course I would have the heat on and the added humidity of The damp clothes would just be a plus. And for the couple of months out of the Year where I don't need air conditioning or heat, I still think putting a fan on it would do just as well. I could put the clothes outside on my balcony and let them air and sun-dry but I choose not to do that. I did find that if I used the machine and let it rinse with no fabric softener that the clothing was rough, for lack of a better term, just like line dried clothes would be. So I just have figured out the timing on it and set my timer to let me know to step in there and add just a little bit of fabric softener and the clothes dry perfectly. As far as permanent press items and jeans, I just take them out and put them on the hangers that I would put them in the closet on but then hang the hangers on the shower curtain or something until the clothes are dry. They don't feel rough, they're not wrinkled. I am just fascinated that this little machine existed and I never knew it until I needed to go searching for an option that didn't require me to have someone to put in washer and dryer connections and then the washer and dryer would have taken up a good bit of space and my one bedroom condo. So now, I'm saving myself the stress of going to a laundry room, I'm being kinder and gentler to my fabrics by not drawing them with heat, and I am positive I am saving on utilities by not drying with heat and my own place. The only negative that I have to mention is that the user manual that comes with it is not thorough and giving an explanation for all the settings such as water recycle and such. And apparently several companies put their brand name on these so searching for the brand name of this one specifically didn't help a whole lot except that once I went through the videos I found other machines that had the exact same control panels on them and people did reviews of them that explained it all very well. As far as noise level, it makes less noise than the dishwasher does. That was another concern because I live upstairs and if I had a machine up here that made a lot of noise, it might bother the neighbors. But that's a non-issue. So long-term durability will just be the test of using it and seeing how long it is trouble free. I do make sure to not overload it but I also do tend to run it especially with the towels at the maximum capacity that it lists and it cleans them and rinse them and spins them out very well. As far as how much laundry detergent and fabric softener, that's just like with any machine that I've ever purchased new. I just always had to test it out through various loads and see what worked the best as far as I'm out. I do not like a lot of suds and my laundry and never have so I'm pretty skimpy with the laundry soap. I could go on and on, LOL but I'm out of time. I would just say to anyone who is wondering if it is good as all the hype says, that I am a real person who lives in the United States and is purchased from Amazon for years and I am getting no compensation for this review, lol. ... show more

  • Exceeded [Cautiously Hopeful] Expectations
Size: 17.8Lbs Color: White Grey
I looked at portable washers for a year before purchasing and went into this with pretty realistic expectations. Arrived quickly, no dents or scratches. Pros: -price. I took a gamble on a machine that wasn’t from a recognizable US appliance brand but this machine had consistently better reviews and by far the largest capacity in its price range. I expect it to pay for itself in a few months -design. Its about counter height and small enough to tuck into a corner and or roll into a small closet should you not necessarily want everyone to know it lives in your apt -Noise level. I live in an old building second floor apt and this was a big factor when choosing a machine. Far quieter than I expected it to be. I also purchased a little dolly with locking wheels (an absolute must) and I think not having it directly on the floor helps. -convenience. Don’t expect it to perform exactly like a standard washing machine, but it’s pretty comparable to the smallest washer at the laundromat. Without the laundromat. -water consumption. We calculated that on second to highest load size it uses about as much water as a 5 min shower. Pretty sure the math was right. We’ll see what my bill looks like but on paper it doesn’t seem to use a ton of electricity -clothes actually do come out more dry than from a regular washer by a long shot Cons: - unless you plan to use it and store it in the same place you have to put it on a dolly - ease of use. Not terrible and the simple things are easy enough to figure out like load size and start but I’m still trying to figure out the programs. The instructions aren’t the worst but could be more clear on the details. -it’s mostly plastic with the exception of the drum. Totally reflected in the price but I’m not beating it up like a standard washer -it performs well but at the end of the day it is an appliance from an unfamiliar brand. Add old and questionably maintained electrical and I won’t be running it when it I’m not home to supervise ... show more

Worst washer ever. First the drain tube cracked on the second load ever ran, and flooded my rv. My husband replaced that with a new/better hose, and now after only a few months of using it, the entire drain pump is done working. Now we have to trash it and buy a different brand

  • Why I didn't buy it long time ago?
Size: 17.8Lbs Color: White Grey
I’ve had this washing machine for 9 months and use it 2–4 times a week. It works quietly, cleans clothes very well, and hasn’t damaged anything. There’s a small leak at the sink connector, but it's minor and improved after tightening the parts. If it shakes more than usual, check and adjust the feet — that solves it. I always finish cycles with Program 7 (Spin Only) to get clothes nearly dry and drain extra water. I mostly use Quick Wash with cold water, and it still gets everything clean. Regular mode is great for dirty kids’ clothes or denim. Great value – highly recommend! ... show more
