  • one of the best portable washing machine you could get online
got this portable washing machine a few months ago. By now I would say it going very well! super easy to set up and plenty of washing options available to choose. The noise is much lower than my previous one, it's pretty ok for sleep if you left it in your restroom or laundry room. overall, with this price, this is one of the most valuable washing machines you could get. ... show more

  • I love this machine!
Now that I have had the machine a bit longer, I just wanted to update my review and I STILL LOVE IT!!! The only minor thing that I would like to have on this machine is a beep to indicate when it goes from wash to rinse. Since I don't dry my clothes in a tumble dryer, I like to add a bit of fabric softener to the rinse. I have watched it through enough cycles that I can fairly accurately set a timer that comes within a couple of minutes of being accurate for the start of the rinse cycle. This just a minor thing and truly at this point the only thing I can think of to improve on it. True, I have only had it for 2 weeks but after hesitating for a while because it's a little bit of money there and if I had to send it back it would be pretty bulky. But I have moved into this condo that does not have an end unit washer and dryer from a home where I've had a washer and dryer for 30 years or more. The complex does have a six unit washer and dryer room but it's coin operated machines and just a hassle of having to go over there and see if anybody else is using the machines and then sit there and wait to set a timer so that I don't forget to get the clothes in and out of the washer and dryer because someone else might be waiting to use it. I am single if that makes a difference to anyone reading this. I do normally about two loads of laundry a week and neither one of them is particularly big. My laundry items do not tend to be particularly soiled either. But as a trial I did use some towels to wash and dry my car and then I used some cleaning cloths around the house and some pretty dirty surfaces like in the tracks of windows and things like that. I wanted to test the cleaning capacity. I'm this little machine using warm water I believe got those really dirty things cleaner than my big agitator washer ever did. Maybe it's just the honeymoon phase lol but it did get them clean with no problem. There is just something soothing to me about watching and listening to this little powerhouse. As far as getting it set up that was just a little bit of a challenge for me because I don't have good hand eye coordination and putting things together and setting them up no matter what the item is always puts me on edge a little bit because it can turn out to be very frustrating. Other than learning to get the angle right to screw the hose connection onto my sink faucet, I didn't have any issues getting this set up and once I got the fuel for that it's no problem either. As far as the drain hose I just flip it over into the sink and put a piece of masking tape to hold it and haven't had any problems with it coming loose or leaking. I haven't tried to use it in my bathroom because the sink faucet there doesn't have the appropriate type connector on the end and again I'm not handy for changing things like that. If I ever have someone come over or a plumber coming for some other reason who can change that end of the faucet for me I'm quite sure it would work fine in the bathroom too. But even though I have a very small kitchen, I just make sure I'm doing the laundry when I don't have anything else to do in the kitchen. I like this machine so well that I am going to research and see if they make a big model on the off chance that I ever live in a house again or a place where I would have room for a bigger one. No it doesn't heat dry the items but heat actually damages fabric and I've just always used it because that's what dryers in the United States have. But this spin dry does a very very good job and I have a clothes rack that I already had and I just hang towels and things over it and point a fan at it and I would say it takes less than 2 hours to dry a regular size heavy bath towel. Now it is summer time in the South where I live so the air conditioner is running and that probably contributes to the quick drying time. In the winter of course I would have the heat on and the added humidity of The damp clothes would just be a plus. And for the couple of months out of the Year where I don't need air conditioning or heat, I still think putting a fan on it would do just as well. I could put the clothes outside on my balcony and let them air and sun-dry but I choose not to do that. I did find that if I used the machine and let it rinse with no fabric softener that the clothing was rough, for lack of a better term, just like line dried clothes would be. So I just have figured out the timing on it and set my timer to let me know to step in there and add just a little bit of fabric softener and the clothes dry perfectly. As far as permanent press items and jeans, I just take them out and put them on the hangers that I would put them in the closet on but then hang the hangers on the shower curtain or something until the clothes are dry. They don't feel rough, they're not wrinkled. I am just fascinated that this little machine existed and I never knew it until I needed to go searching for an option that didn't require me to have someone to put in washer and dryer connections and then the washer and dryer would have taken up a good bit of space and my one bedroom condo. So now, I'm saving myself the stress of going to a laundry room, I'm being kinder and gentler to my fabrics by not drawing them with heat, and I am positive I am saving on utilities by not drying with heat and my own place. The only negative that I have to mention is that the user manual that comes with it is not thorough and giving an explanation for all the settings such as water recycle and such. And apparently several companies put their brand name on these so searching for the brand name of this one specifically didn't help a whole lot except that once I went through the videos I found other machines that had the exact same control panels on them and people did reviews of them that explained it all very well. As far as noise level, it makes less noise than the dishwasher does. That was another concern because I live upstairs and if I had a machine up here that made a lot of noise, it might bother the neighbors. But that's a non-issue. So long-term durability will just be the test of using it and seeing how long it is trouble free. I do make sure to not overload it but I also do tend to run it especially with the towels at the maximum capacity that it lists and it cleans them and rinse them and spins them out very well. As far as how much laundry detergent and fabric softener, that's just like with any machine that I've ever purchased new. I just always had to test it out through various loads and see what worked the best as far as I'm out. I do not like a lot of suds and my laundry and never have so I'm pretty skimpy with the laundry soap. I could go on and on, LOL but I'm out of time. I would just say to anyone who is wondering if it is good as all the hype says, that I am a real person who lives in the United States and is purchased from Amazon for years and I am getting no compensation for this review, lol. ... show more

  • Perfect little washer
I live in an apartment, and needed a small washing machine. This fit perfectly in the space I have. This machine is compact, yet sturdy. I use it a few times during the week, and my clothes are always clean. It's quiet enough to not disturb my neighbors. I highly recommend this little, but resilient washing machine! ... show more

  • Decent machine, but leaks
Had a double tub portable washer, so I wanted to upgrade to fully automatic portable. Beautiful design. Simple, I put mine on a furniture dolly to roll thru house. Pros- fully automatic with alarm. Let’s you know when it’s done. No more forgetting to turn off the water for washing and rinsing. Fills and drains automatically. Does a good job overall. Clothes come out clean and reasonably well spun out. Cons- It leaks from the bottom and the water intake valve. I’m not sure if it’s because of water level and clothes ratio causes splash or it’s defective. Be mindful to not overload or under load. Oversuds on maiden voyage. I use tide pod 10x hygiene because I have to wash cold, and caused overflow of suds. Never happened with old washer but again, learning curve, put pod/detergent first, clothes, packed gently, decent amount, it won’t spin well if load isn’t heavy enough. Ideal with separate sink tub like in garage, but for apartment or “faucet poor” we need an attachment(s) that hooks up to the shower head or kitchen faucet. Either or all Options are nice. Would like optional fabric softener alarm for rinse cycle or compartment. Set an egg timer I guess. Stronger drain pump. Mostly gravity fed and if the hose falls out, it leaks all over the floor. Place your machine on top of a crate or two inside the bathtub. Pull your drain plug and stick hose on drain otherwise you will have to scrub your tub before you shower. Reviews help people make good buying choices. So far this was a good purchase. It’s the learning curve that will eventually determine overall value. If I can find out if it’s me causing it to leak or if it is a bad piece which happens. Overall good value. ... show more

  • Great little washer!
I've now had this washer for almost six months and it has saved me so much money! I bought it because my building charges $6/ load and if you do several loads a week boy does it add up. The set up for this washer is so easy and when I'm done I can tuck it away (I definitely recommend an appliance dolly). They do hold about half the size of a regular washer so it does not save time but is still so worth it. The adapter it came with did not match either of my sinks but a quick visit to Home Depot and $4 did the trick! If you are in an apartment or RV without hookups this baby is perfect. ... show more
