I wanted to buy this after my apartment building increased the coin amount for the community washer that sees little to no maintenance. I looked around at these products and saw good and bad reviews about them but decided to buy it anyways. I have a few tips if you're sketchy on this like I was. First, DO NOT CHALLENGE THE WEIGHT. I believe most people who've put negative reviews after 2 washes it broke was because of overloading or oversudding, and I have the 28lb load I do not try to even go close to that weight load. I try to keep the tub around 1/2 each time. I've kept myself to 3 pairs of jeans, or I did use 4 adult XL hoodies (which was sketchy but it pulled through). Second, I've seen negative reviews about the spin cycle breaking rather quickly, and I believe that comes to the overloading. If I'm washing said 3 jeans or 4 hoodies, I put each piece of clothing in individually and run the spin. It takes 2 minutes for it to get to just a dampen state where you can hang dry them. ALSO NOTE ON SPIN: There is a child safety mechanism on the lid of the spin tub. If you open that lid it will brake itself which I can see how people have their's break on them. Let it stop on its own. Third, the hose system for the water tap, I just fill it manually with one gallon bucket at a time (for the 1/2 load I use its about 5-6 gallons) and if you're using HE detergent with a 1-5 measuring cup, you don't need more than 2 at absolute max. This machine is semi-automatic and won't do what a traditional full washer will do. You have to put in some work to use it, but if you treat it for what it is, it works just fine and does exactly what is described of it.

I'm stuck in an apartment for a while and the complex seems to not want to clean the laundry room. So, if you drop a sock you burn it. So... figured I'd get one of these deals for the new pad. I like it. It washes well and the spin is pretty cool too. You have to fill and empty, it's not automatic, but so what. I just do it via a bucket. I'd say you can probably wash like the equivalent of 10 med size t-shirts, or maybe 3 pairs of jeans for a shorter person. Again this is a manual machine. Every step is done by you, the human, except the agitation. But, for a right winger eco geeks like me it's kinda cool. I also got the little 1.5 ft cu dryer ( this one: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00EAY540S/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o06_s00?ie=UTF8&th=1 ) and it also works great.

After sitting overnight after first use this machine has stopped leaking. I am assuming the warehouse conditions allowed the water seals to dry out. After sitting overnight the seals must have swelled to reseal themselves. Needs a better spin balancer however. Can't seem to get the load perfect enough to balance correctly. Like the machine now nevertheless.

I've had this washer for 6 months. The first month of using it was great however what I realized quickly was that the lint catcher does absolutely nothing and I'm sure the lint that comes off in the wash clogs up the drain. I've bought floating lint catchers and make sure I put a hair catcher in the drain and they help. After 2 months the drain function does not work right away, sometimes the pump will just run and run before it actually starts to drain and then it stops draining and leaves about an inch of water in the washer tub. I have to unplug it and let it sit for a few minutes, then turn the pump back on and it will finish draining. Now after 6 months the water from the spinner will back up into the washer and will not drain, I have to let the drain pump run for 10+ minutes and it just trickles out slowly. Not happy with this purchase at all and wish I would've went with the Black and Decker I was looking at.

I didn't know what to expect when I purchased this little washer for my Apartment, I have had this for about a month now and have put it through it's paces, and it does a great job at cleaning dirty clothes, and spin dries them extremely well, then I just dry them the rest of the way on a drying rack. It's a nice little machine so far. Saves me money from not having to go to the Laundromat as much.
