Needed an updated selfie stick and for some reason I thought this was three separate pieces and figured I'd just use the selfie stick and have a tripod as an option. (clearly, I didn't read the description) I was pleasantly surprised to see it was all in one! I had no issues pairing the remote (which is so cute and convenient!). This stand is not heavy duty at all so a nice study flat surface that's not too windy and you should be ok. I really like how I get a tripod, selfie stick, and remote all compacted together so I can shove this in most of my purses and don't have to keep up with separate pieces. Also, I can attach my go pro! I never had a tripod for it and now it does! the only issue I had was opening the remote caused the entire thing to come out the case. Had to figure out how everything fit back in and that was slightly annoying. I wish the components were glued in or snapped in or something. It would be a nightmare changing the remote battery anywhere other than home. I don't think this works without the remote so losing the little microchip battery thing while out and about doesn't seem fun. ... show more

I got this on sale for only 7 dollars, and let me tell you this is a great tripod for your phone. First off from taking gym flicks in the mirror to filming cars this tripod is great. The remote is sick too and even comes w a spare battery. U can take the remote out and walk quite far and still have it work. Great value for money. However if u have a large/heavy phone you may run into a few stabilization issues (i have the iphone 12), however if u look past that its good value for your money ... show more
