Not a good tool. The adjuster was loose with no way to tighten. There was no indicator pointing to the size measurement. You have to open the jaws up manually, they should open when sliding the center adjuster then it was so loose it wouldn’t hold the position where it fit on the bolt.

This is a clever idea for sizing hardware. I have a pretty good eye but determining between SAE and metric is not easy. This takes the guess work out of it. It also comes in handy when sorting nuts and bolts to put back in the bins.

Handy tool but the locking screw is a bit coarse to measure nut diameter.

Reviewed in the United States on 9/9/2025 The screw shown on tool is NOT the same screw used... Makes it impossible to use correctly. The screw doesn't stay in place for you to see the size and also it is too big and generic to indicate where exactly it's lining up with.
