This keyboard is a really good size for beginners. The keys are very responsive and it is loaded with features. I am in the process of relearning how to play and I have been enjoying this keyboard. It comes with an attachable music rest, power cord (although you can use D cell batteries), internal speakers and a microphone. There is a headphone jack so you don't annoy other folks in the house. And if you do want to annoy them, you can connect to an external speaker. Best of both worlds. I find the metronome feature really useful. There are a couple of hundred different instrument sounds and rhythm selections. You can record short pieces and play them back. I'm sure there are some keyboards that are more expensive and have more accessories, but just to have a keyboard to learn on, this is fine. The only cons I can think of... I still have not been able to figure out the learning function. I wish that it came with stickers to help identify the keys. This would be great for children learning how to play. There are so many learning apps available, but I cannot connect my tablet as there is no USB port. I am editing my review. Since purchasing this keyboard, I have tried several apps on my Kindle. I found the simply piano app and downloaded it. That makes all the difference in the world! I am perfectly content with my keyboard now and I'm learning more than I thought possible. I guess my next purchase will be a keyboard stand - although my ironing board works fine for now. ;)

Microphone stopped working after first use, not easy to navigate the controls and the demo songs are in Japanese. You have to be able to read to use this. My 3 year old fell in love with a friends keyboard because he could just push buttons and make things happen. With this one you need to punch in a number to get results.

The battery compartment had a screw that was too deep and blocked the batteries from going in. Buyer beware and check it before you give it as a gift. I was able to do a refund but no exchange. I didn't bother to check and see if the power cord worked so I can't say anything about the other features or sound.

Our 5 year old grandson received this cool keyboard as a Christmas gift. When he brought it to our house about a month later, he showed me that one of the keys was silent. Apparently it had been silent for a while, but we had missed the Amazon return window. Though it took a little work to find out how to contact the vendor about the warranty, once we did, the customer service was excellent. The vendor was able to contact the manufacturer for a replacement keyboard which arrived the other day. All systems seem to be working perfectly. This keyboard is lightweight and a great size for a kids who is either learning to play or who just enjoys making interesting sounds. There is a volume control to allow for a child to play without the sound taking up too much air space, and there is even a port for headphones. For the price, this is a great starter instrument for anyone.

The media could not be loaded. Love this keyboard! It's larger than the mini keyboard, so I can play multiple octaves. I absolutely love that is comes with an AC adapter so I don't have to use 6C batteries. It also comes with a mic (although you need to buy a mic stand clip if you want to sing while playing), a detachable music stand, and an aux jack. That is awesome because I can practice without bothering my family! Great sound and overall quality. A great value!!
