I purchased the Green Power America 8K generator several years ago and have had great service. I decided to purchase this one due to hurricane season. I fired right up and runs well. The only thing I'm not happy with is the handle to move the generator around, they should have stuck with the old version where you can just pick up the end of the generator to move it around, this new version you have to lean down on it to lift the generator. It's okay for someone who has some weight, but if someone under 150 lbs. had to move it they may have trouble. ... show more

Broken parts, missing parts, will not start. Digital reads outs are blacked out. I will post pictures later. Need to get my old one up and running I guess..10000% failure

I love this generator. We also purchased a 15 ft connector cable. We live in Houston Tx and lost power for two days from the storms that went through several days ago. This was our first chance to use our generator since we bought it. It worked like a champ. We had an electrician set up our breaker box so we could connect the generator to the house. We have 3 refrigerators, a freezer and a window AC unit in our garage workshop. This generator ran everything in our house except our main AC unit. I love the push button start. The only thing I’d change about it would be a meter to see how many watts are being consumed so you don’t overload it. ... show more

    • No electricity
Worked a hand full of times then on this last time it was used the thing ran for about 5-10 mins then shut off. When it got turned back on the electric outlets no longer worked and no of the breakers reset them. Eventually after finding the new number for their customer service and being told to remove a piece I saw that the bronze wires in the alternator had burned up. It’s hard to get an answer back from their warranty people since I bought the unit in October 2023. ... show more
