This drill guide is in my opinion the best drill guide anywhere. I have owned another another upscale drill guide, but not comparable to this. I needed a chuck that would hold up to a 1/2” drill bit (only one other manufacture offers this size chuck). It is well made, all aluminum parts with a still chuck. The shaft to connect to the drill is completely circular, not hex. How does it even grip? Stupid design, do not buy.

Quality built. Smooth operation with both springs or no springs. It tends to bind a little when you use the depth gage. I like the fact there is a detect at 90 degrees. All and all what I expected.

For the money, not to bad. Biggest downside is it wobbles when using a forsner bit on an angle in hardwood.
