I'm a professional musician. I bought the Zoom V3 mainly to beef up my personal vocal and add some fun effects at times. I found a lot of limitations. The only signal out is a pair of 1/4 jacks. Harmonies are minimally controllable and often sound like the wrong interval even with the correct key selection. Some other effects just had little application to what I do. I found the 'unison', 'pitch correct chromatic' and 'deep' for a Bruno Mars tune to be very useful. It also has, seperate from the effects, independent reverb, delay, and compression that were adequate. My difficulty was the unit started turning itself off randomly after less than 20 hours use and only taking it to two gigs. I had to return it. If you choose to get it I think the extended warranty would be important. I got a refund but not in full ... show more

So I bought this so I had a battery powered mobile vocal fx unit I could use to create voices for my cosplay with a battery powered mic&speaker. I think it kinda serves it purpose, but it is not the best... The delay and reverb options are minimal, and if I were going to just use this as a studio of main vocal fx processor I would look into a different one with better/more fx options. Like I did mention. If you need a battery powered vocal fx processor for on the go, this will do the job. ... show more

This thing is a beast. The pitch correction is what I like the best. It comes with batteries but I ordered the power cord. I haven’t done the firmware update and it works great without my computer. I connected it my audio interface to process prior to going into the computer and it sounds amazing. No delay at all. I have Autotunes and other pitch correction software but nothing compares to this. ... show more
