When I first saw This Portable Clothes Dryer the first thing I thought about was my RV. I do a lot of traveling and I need something to wash my clothes. I don’t have a washer or dryer. I stop here and there sporadically. I thought this would really save the day. It has a couple of positive and negative. The items to dry are very limited with this dryer. It is something good to use of course when you have nothing else. This is very portable, which is a big plus. You do have to make sure you have the correct hangers such as wood or metal.. It would definitely come in handy when traveling in my RV. It does help with drying my clothes. It’s not hard to figure out. It is definitely worth it.

The media could not be loaded. I bought it for a month, and it had a poor contact problem. It didn't work when plugged in. I almost returned it, but it worked again. I'll try it again.

This portable dryer looks decent, is lightweight, and feels of average build quality. It can hold up to 9 items or around 22 pounds of clothing. Controls are accessible via a small built-in panel or a remote control, and the timer can be set for up to 8 hours. It features a built-in LED UV (ultraviolet) light to aid in drying and purifying clothes. Note: UV light can be hazardous, so use with caution and avoid direct exposure to skin or eyes. For travel use—in hotel rooms, RVs, or apartments, as suggested by the product page—it performs adequately. However, it does not come close to the effectiveness of a standard gas or electric dryer. For instance, I tested it with a small wet towel that had been thoroughly wrung out, and it still took about an hour and a half to dry. In comparison, hanging the same towel outdoors on a sunny day would have been quicker. That said, the drying performance isn't the main concern. The primary issue is safety certification. Despite operating with a 600-watt heating element, I found no mention of electrical safety certifications on the user manual, the product packaging, or the product page. This is unacceptable. Producing a 600-watt electric heater without proper third-party certification poses potential safety risks. While the danger of using uncertified products may not always be immediate, it raises serious concerns. Consumers should look for certifications from recognized safety organizations such as: • UL (Underwriters Laboratories) • ETL (Intertek/ Electrical Testing Laboratories) • CE (Conformité Européenne) • TÜV Rheinland • CSA (Canadian Standards Association) • PSE (Japan) • UKCA (United Kingdom) • CCC and CQC (China) • IC (Industry Canada) • IEC (International Electrotechnical Commission) Although not all products sold in the U.S. are legally required to carry these certifications, compliance with recognized safety standards is essential for consumer trust and liability protection. In a time where consumers are increasingly informed, the absence of such certifications is a red flag. As a retired electrical engineer, I do not recommend electrical appliances that lack independent safety certification. If the manufacturer can provide verifiable proof of certification from a reputable body, I will gladly update this review. Until then, I urge potential buyers to exercise caution.

Very helpful portable dryer for traveling. I got this dryer, and we were out of town for a couple of days. This dryer was my go-to for a quick dry at my hotel. I quickly hand-washed my daughter's swimsuits and put them to dry. They were ready in about 30 minutes. it has low and high levels for drying, and it could dry up to 8 hours straight, in case it's thicker clothing. I dried a pair of jeans and a shirt here, and it did take a while, but the outcome was great. It is not super noisy, so great to use in hotels. I would say you could fit bout 5 shirts to give it room to dry quicker.
