I love a good bath, and have been disappointed every time I try to approximate one in our regular low built-in shower/tub (which was often, because I really like baths). Especially when I was pregnant, I was wanting so badly for a real bath tub that I could soak in rather than having most of me from hipbones upward sticking up out of the water, freezing. This tub has made me so happy! It takes ages to fill, but it is well worth it when it does. You can actually sink into hot water. It comes with a little pillow too, like one you would blow up, except you actually fill it with warm water and set it on the back of your neck to provide weight and warmth and something to lean your head on. I put this tub in our little old-school tiny shower stall in the downstairs bathroom, where it just fits, and I just keep it stored there ready and waiting for my next bath. My two girls (5y and 3y) love it too and end up in my soaking bath with me whenever I allow them to join--we actually all do fit comfortably (that's the 5y's head you can see in the tub in the picture). Of all the thousands of things I have probably purchased over the years, this is one of the best items I have ever ordered from Amazon. While I got this as a vine reviewer, I would purchase it at its full retail price. Note, getting this to actually drain if in a shower stall like mine requires some ingenuity (because the full tub creates a watertight seal over the drain). What I did to resolve this was put a wide melamine bowl underneath the tub over the drain, with one edge of the bowl resting on one end of my rolling pin. The other end of the rolling pin goes to the edge of the tub, beside where the drain tube is. This keeps the water weight from crushing the drain tube (it rests on the rolling pin instead), and the water can flow out the tube and down the drain underneath when your bath is done. The tub bottom is cushily thick enough, and you sit far enough off of the middle anyway, that this doesn't affect your bathing experience negatively at all. It is a near-perfect scenario. Go ahead and get this tub.

If I sit down, the water reaches up to my neck and my entire body can soak. I only have a shower so it's nice to have a relaxing soak every now and then. It's pretty heavy and bulky. I don't see how I can pack it away and take it out as often as I want to without it being a hassle. The sides are floppy until it feels up at least half way with water then it starts taking shape. It's great for a soak.

I did not buy this as an ice bath. I bought it because my bathtub is very shallow and I wanted a good deep soak. I was extremely pleased at the good quality of the tub. The material is nice and thick and provides some insulation for my hot water (or the cold water in someone’s ice plunge). The support system is just 6 poles that go from top to bottom just inside the outside layer. I was impressed at the support. When freestanding the tub easily maintains it round shape. It will also adapt to non round areas; I set it up in my tub and it worked just fine just squishing the sides in.

Got this to cut back on water and time - this is really cool, not just for cold water but for hot baths too! I only needed half the water that I would usually use to fill my bathtub. This is wide enough that you need not to worry about getting in or getting up.

I wanted to try this because it’s not just a cold plunge pool but an indoor portable bathtub, so it takes cold and also padded to take hot water (up to 104 degrees Fahrenheit). I wanted to be able to have warm/hot soaking baths and it fit right into my shower stall perfectly. Easy to setup and empty afterwards. Folds flat for storage. Comes with a pillow for you to fill with water - I’m guessing that would keep it at the bottom to sit on, but I had a spay seat that I used instead. Absolutely love it!!
