This die cutting machine has already saved my hands from so much cranking. I had a hand crank die cutter and I always avoided using it at all costs because my hands aren't the greatest. With this machine I am able to bring out my dies and embossing folders and use them again. Since I've used a die cutter before this one was pretty simple to learn. It takes different sized mats depending on what is being run through and the thickness. I was experimenting with different plates and folders and I noticed that when I put a stack that is too thick into the machine it kicks it back out. So it's not going to break itself by taking in a stack that's too big. I really like that feature. I also like that the stack auto feeds when it is put in the slot. I thought I would have to hit a button but I only need to use the buttons when reversing and going forward again. The other button is for power. This machine is quite heavy so it's best to find a spot for it and use it in one place. But if it needs to be moved the handle on the top really helps out with making it more comfortable to lift. The flower design makes this thing a show piece so it can be left within view. I love that it resembles a handbag and purple just so happens to be my favorite color. This die cutting machine came with extra goodies for creating flowers. There is crepe paper, wire, foam balls, and glue included. There are also four dies included to get started.

The media could not be loaded. This is the BEST new Die Cutting Machine. I have the 'big name' cutting machine that works with software, and I have various sized manual cutting machines (including one from Scrapblooms that is greatness); but this blends the best of both worlds. It electronically feeds your cutting sandwich thru the machine and it's larger size means I can use my big/ long cutting dies quite easily! My 8 yo granddaughter was with me when this arrived so she helped me with the unboxing and she made the first flower. Honestly, it had never occurred to me before to use cutting dies to make crepe paper flowers but this came with everything needed to do just that! With my supervision (this machine is very easy to use; but not a toy) she cut the petals and leaves and then using the included wires, made a beautiful pink rose. Today I used it on scrapbooking paper and the heavier 'pleather' floral piece shown in the video. I love making small notebooks with 'pleather' and cork and felt and this machine feeds the sandwiches through perfectly! I love how the machine looks; the purple flowers are beautiful! The instructions are very clear and includes photos and illustrations. It works well with longer/bigger dies. I appreciate that the sandwich plates are identified to match instructions - e.g., if using plate 'B', there is a 'B' clearly marked on the plate. It comes with crepe paper and floral wire, and center styrofoam balls so you can make flowers immediately. This is just an absolutely wonderful machine/set and I LOVE IT!
