I came across this when I was looking for a solution to avoid getting speed trap tickets in NYC while making my old 2008 model car new again. This unit has everything I need from an android auto device. This is such a great value with front and rear view cameras. I have no complaint over software, it allows you to view cameras with the split screen. Not all devices can do that. I had to return a few similar devices due to software issues. They all look the same but the features are different. E.g. one of the units from different brand only shows rear camera with backup (+) wire connection, no manual rear camera viewing option. Touch screen is very responsive and it pairs with two android phones seamlessly. It always auto connect the last device. I just have to manually connect through Bluetooth when switching to different phone that is already paired. Now, I don't drive unless this devices up and running with Waze. I have been using this for 3 months and no issues so far. ... show more

    • Very nice unit. Well worth the money
I got this to use Carplay in my ancient cars which only accommodate single-DIN head units. The part of this particular unit that sold me over all of the others is the suction cup mounting option that allows me to use the unit in multiple cars. Other similar units don't come with that feature, just the permanent adhesive mounting. Screen looks good and is very responsive to touch. Having the little "button" on the right side of the screen for volume adjustment in Carplay mode is handy. Carplay works perfectly. The integral dashcam is a plus. Sound from the speakers is a little tinny and low in volume but, in such a relatively small unit, that's not unexpected. The manufacturer put some good thought into the elegant packaging it came in. It would be nice to be able to get a firmware update to be able to adjust the volume going to the FM modulator. Would I recommend it to my friends who have ancient cars? Yes. ... show more
