You do have to hold the button down quite awhile, so some people might not do that and then it doesn’t work. But if you hold it until it is well into its cycle, it works great. I have severe arthritis and opening jars has become a struggle. My nail guy told me about these and I said to myself, what’s the worse that could happen, it won’t work! Wow, was I surprised! It was easy to load the batteries and had easy instructions to follow. I opened almost every jar I had in the house to see how well it worked on a variety of previously unopened and opened jars, as well as differing sizes. Worked like a charm.
