I like that it uses a screw bracket to hold the phone rather than spring loaded tension. It's not very tall, so keep that in mind if you want to use the tripod function. It doesn't fit my phone in the vertical position. I have an S21 with an Otterbox and it doesn't even come close. I found a work around by tilting the cradle 90°. It's able to hold the weight of the phone with a clip-on light in tripod position without tipping over. You kind of have to find a balance point though. It may do better if you have a smaller phone that doesn't need to be offset. For the price, I'm satisfied with it as a starter unit.

Over all I do think this item is a five but there is two minor details that bugged me. First one is the Remote, it would disconnect because of sleep mode but on two occasions it took me about 3 mins to get it to reconnected to my phone. usually i turn it off and back on then it would reconnect, but the second time I had trouble connecting. The other is when you Tighten the side so you can hold the angle you want your phone in, well it still moves but it does take some Force to move it though, which didn’t really bother me that much. I would recommend this item to my friends or family.

Recommended by my son who lives in the west coast and said that he was getting seasick every time we had a FaceTime call. I tried to keep my hand steady but I guess I was still moving it. Now I place it on the coffee table or on the floor and I sit on the sofa and there is no shaking. Haven't used for anything else yet but you can take selfies.

I am thrilled. I ASSUMED the tripod mount for the stick would be flimsy and not able to hold my phone while in its case. Imagine my delight when I found the mount to be able to accommodate a big phone IN ITS case, but also to have a screw clamp and not spring loaded was a wonderful bonus. The stick extends 40" as it says although I dont think I'll ever need that far. To the person who feels the tripod unstable, I think that might be s correct if extended to the 40" but truly it is designed as a table top tripod, not for use in the wilderness.. The fact that is is light means one will be likely to take it with you. The bluetooth paired nicely for the remote shutter. I am DELIGHTED

I love the tripod and remote as it works very well and no longer need to be able to reach photo button. It’s easy to make small or fully extended and takes selfies for stories easy to do in upright or sideway photos. I have an iPhone and it fits perfect. Highly recommend it.

Took this selfie stick on my honeymoon. We were able to get some amazing pictures. The tripod feature is awesome on a solid surface, and actually worked okay on gravel. The battery life was very well tested and never died. The Bluetooth connection is quick and easy and reconnects automatically when turned back on. Just buy it.

Handy gadget to have. The only issue I have with it is how it grips the phone. On an iPhone it can cause the phone to SOS for an emergency due to the location of the buttons on the phone.
