  • I LOVE this greenhouse / hothouse!
Style: 63.7'' Tall Large Plant tent
Okay so my application for this little greenhouse is a bit unconventional... See, my office is in a room which has a lot of windows and zero insulation. And we live in Minnesota. So it's the coldest room in the house for most of the year. And I am always cold so I'm basically miserable all winter long. So I put this greenhouse IN the house to serve as my office. You just turn a space heater on low, zip up the door, and it hits 90 degrees no problem!! It's perfect! (and yes I have the door cracked so I have plenty of oxygen) I actually returned the 36" one in the photos and upgraded to the 48" one, which is tall enough to get in and out of more easily. Anyway, it is my new favorite tiny room in the house. Now to review the actual greenhouse itself, that is also a glowing review. I have one other large pop up greenhouse that I bought 8 or 9 years ago, but this new one is FAR easier to assemble/take down. You only have two poles to deal with and they go in and out quite easily. (the old one has multiple poles and they are really hard to get in the slots) And basically it's a simple square so folding it again is not hard at all. The walls are a nice thick reinforced plastic so it's durable but flexible. I can't think of anything I'd change. I love it. ... show more

  • Great Squirrel-proof Greenhouse!
Style: 52'' Tall Flower House Tent
I purchased this greenhouse to keep my few tomato plants away from the squirrels, who plucked every single tomato last summer, took one bite, and tossed the rest on the ground. GRRRRR! So far, so good! It is a small green house that holds four fairly large tomato plants, or any other type of plant. It comes with holes for staking it to the ground, but our squirrels are so dastardly smart that they could probably figure out how to tunnel under the edge to get my ripe tomatoes. So, I set it up on my brick patio, and placed bricks all around the base flap of the green house. There is NO WAY the gray menaces can lift the bricks! There is a zippered flap at the front that can be rolled up and secured for watering the plants inside. It works well. We have high force winds here, but the little green house has held up really well so far, and the plants are thriving. I'm really happy with this purchase so far, and may get another one for next summer if this one does it's job until the end of the season. ... show more

  • Great Freeze and Cold Protector
Style: 2 Pcs Pear Shape Plant Cover
I used this cover to protect my pepper and tomato plants when our temperatures went down to 30°F for about 4 hours last weekend. I have used it to keep the pepper and tomato plants warm when they were very small and the temperatures were going to be below 50°F overnight. PROS: (1) VERY EASY TO USE -- The covers open easily. Just pop it open, place over plants, zip up closure, stake the 4 corners and you are done. (2) LARGE -- The cover is big enough to cover many plants at one time, which is convenient. (3) STAKES INCLUDED -- The stakes help it stay in place on windy nights. I also use a brick or potted plant to hold it down, too. (4) WARMTH AND PROTECTION -- The interior is about 10°F warmer than the outside air. In my use, tomatoes and pepper survived 30°F. CONS: (1) The cover MUST be removed as soon as the sun comes up and temperatures will be above 38°F or so. I left them on until it was closer to 50°F and one pepper plant on the southeast corner was killed and 3 of the tomato plants were damaged. If you cannot remove the cover as temperature increases, cover the plants with a bedsheet before putting cover on to protect them from sun damage. (2) Tricky to fold up and doesn't fit back in the original pouch. It closes like an auto sunshield. It is ok that it doesn't fit in the pouch because when storing it after winter, I just hold it closed and tie string around it. Overall, I really like it and may buy more for next year. ... show more

  • Winterizing in Ohio
Style: 85'' Tall Large greenhouse tent
This product fulfilled my dream of getting my dwarf citrus, avacado, and infant apple trees safely through Winter '23-'24. When the time comes, I can just roll them into the garage and this structure, turn on the grow light, and - botta bing!

  • Hidden Gem - Very Good Buy
Style: 2 Pcs Pear Shape Plant Cover
These small Greenhouses are awesome buys. I was able to determine that you only need about 4, 5 gallon cloth planters, full of soil, properly hydrated to hold enough thermal energy from the sun to keep the greenhouse warm all night, even when the temps outside dropped below freezing. - My only concern with this tent is how hard it "could" be to get some ventilation going through it. It only has 1 door, so if in the event at any point in time, if you notice its to humid or hot, you'll want to just open the door and leave it open for a bit until you humidity or temp comes down to an acceptable level. - Good solid buy - For future improvement, I would like to see small ventilation flaps near the top of the greenhouse, Just somethin thats roughly 2 inches thick by 3 or 4 inch's long to allow some air flow though if needed. ... show more

  • Just What my Spring Garden Needed
Style: 52'' Tall Flower House Tent
Pleasantly surprised at the quality of my new greenhouse. I received this today and it was up and the lettuce planted in under a half hour! Whoot! PROS: Easy to assemble Sturdy sides, quality material, zipper, mesh windows, upper structural poles. Genius really! Guy lines in addition to stakes to keep it on location when windy. Reading the poor reviews, I would say that because of its height (its nice to step inside to water, etc) you need to guy it out in addition to using the stakes or it will not stay put. The guy lines come with the greenhouse. Easy to do, but you have to do it! I staked everything and added a rock on top of the stakes in addition. This isn't in any way insulated so if it gets below freezing, don't expect it to keep your plants warm. Now if you are growing early in the season, the sun will heat it up and I'd expect it to be a champ. Time will tell! ... show more
