I bought this for my grand niece for her birthday. I was very surprised at how much was in the wooden box. She is really into art and it literally has everything one needs to draw or sketch. The box opens up 3 ways with two drawers where all the supplies are neatly kept. She loved it! I was impressed with the quality of the supplies as well as the wooden box they come in. I hit a home run for my fourth grade grandson's 10th birthday. He's spent hours drawing and sketching, mainly with colored pencils formore than a year, and has taken an art class in school. I gave him this set he could experiment with new media and expand his horizons. That said, this set could be overwhelming for a very young child.

It looks super pretty and neat. Everything comes as promised. Not much of an artist so can't judge the quality of the colours. The knobs came off the box in day 2, it seems to be glued. Not sturdy but still for 30 bucks it's a beginner's bargain!
