I love these popups for my youngest. They are larger books and the pages are thick like board books. The flaps you open for the pop ups, as well as the pop-up image, are sturdier than most tiny board book flaps. This is our 2nd one and I plan on getting more. Granddaughter is 15 months and loves these books. Bought 5 some for our home and some her house. Yes the pop up can rip. When she tries to pull on the pop up top much I tell her no and she stops. She is now gentle with the pop ups and delights in reading them everyday with her grandparents, us and her mommy and daddy. All of these books are great, even for young toddlers. They are engaging and promote motor skills. My 1 year old loves them so much he knows how to turn the page and open the pop up flaps. He will bring as many as he can carry just so we can read them together and he can interact with both the book and I. These are great if you want to promote reading and I highly recommend! Forewarning, the pop ups are easily ripped but nothing some tape won’t fix, the pages are thick so no worries there. ... show more
