While I love the style and overall theme of this non-traditional Halloween decoration, I feel like it needs some improvement before I can call it perfect. Assembly is quick and easy—You put three segments of pole together, insert them in the base, and then lift the tree onto the top. Because the tree is basically one long strand of tinsel arranged in a spiral, all you have to do is pick it up from the center, and gravity will pull it into shape! I previously reviewed this product and complained that it was very wobbly. However, after a second attempt at assembling it, I see that it fits together better than I thought. You just have to insert the metal pole very firmly into the base with some force. When I could no longer get it to move farther, it was much sturdier. There is still a little bit of play between the pole segments so the wobble isn't completely eliminated, but the top of the tree has less than 2 inches of total travel. Another defect: The lights are strung in the same way as the tinsel—in a spiral pattern. So they are clustered very densely at the bottom, but very sparse at the top. The battery case is a box that you can fasten closed, which should make it somewhat water-resistant. The downside is that there's no place on the tree to hide the batteries, so they just dangle awkwardly out the bottom. You can probably fix these problems by adding a second string of lights at the top and wrapping the power cord to make it shorter.

This tree is very cute. Assembly was very easy and took under 5 minutes. With that being said some things to consider. I recommend putting it together where you plan to place it as the 4 bars that slide into one another do not have a click together feature and so if try to move it after it tends to fall apart. It takes 3 AAs not included, but has a timer function to help save battery life. There is no where to tuck the battery pack, so you can shimmy it up somewhere or leave it on the ground in the back. It does not stand well on carpet. This tree is aesthetically appealing, and as long as you don't touch it you can't even tell there's a wobble, but could be sturdier.

This is a very easy tree to put together as all you do is prep the stand and then insert the poles. Put the bottom of the tree on the pole and allow it to fall down. Gravity brings the bottom to the bottom and your tree is ready to go. The poles do not stick firmly in with each other or at the base so the tree isn't real stable. If it is in a safe place it will probably be OK. If it is in a high-traffic area you might want to firm up the pole connections. It is a cute tree and I am looking forward to showing it off on Halloween.

So I took a star off because the poles that hold the tree up don't fit snuggly together and it makes the tree sway a LOT. It isn't a regular Christmas tree but more like an accordion of garland. It has lights and wee little cats on it and is very cute. I used some sticky tack to hold the poles together and now it's fine. You won't really be able to hang ornaments from this because it isn't strong enough to support them unless they're foam, but with how pretty and narrow it is, it's still worth the price in my opinion.

Easy to assemble and even comes with simple instructions. Looks nice, especially when it's lit. Only real issue I have is that it's not sturdy. I had it up for about 5 minutes and my puppy just ran by it (not touching it) and it fell over. Definitely not for outdoors. I am placing it in a small corner of my computer room so it can prop against the wall. Also, the branches are done in such a way that this really isn't good for adding your own ornaments. I tried and it just doesn't work.

Comes disassembled, you will have to put it together, which is fairly simple really. Instructions show you how easy it is to make the tree, then all you need to do is fluff the branches to your liking. Pre-lit means no need to apply lights as they are already on the tree, all you have to do is install batteries which may or may not need to be replaced while using... Depends on how good the batteries are, don't use dollar-store batteries. Then you can set up a timer for when they can pop on. I picked the Purple and Black cat tree, the tree is all black with purple glitter kitties. Perfect for the spooky season. You can add some Halloween decorations as long as they are lightweight for even more fun. Spread some spiderwebbing and spiders around it or on the base for a creepy effect. Or make your own base with slime green color or red for blood and make it look like a puddle. The creativity is endless, you get to decorate it the way you want. One is enough, but two are nifty for the entryway inside or out. These are small enough for limited space areas, slender and you can place them on a tabletop or riser if you want them up higher. Use as is, with lights on or off, with or without extra ornaments, with or without a base cover. Maybe make some ornaments for crafty fun, with the kids.

This tree is awesome, just what I needed to fill the space. Eventually I think i'm going to stick it on my front porch area under covering of course but it would add a wonderful look to my front door halloween look! It was a super easy set up with minimal pieces. The lights are nice and bright and even after handling it and setting it up nothing seemed loose or fell off. The lights a green on this version and currently I have it inside to go with the rest of my halloween decor. (Maybe it's early but is it really? ;) )
