This is the best product I have ever used to get ride of perfume odors! I have a lot of allergies (no joke I am actually allergic to some allergy medication!). Unfortunately scented products don't dissipate like they did years ago. After a recent full bath and grooming, my two fur babies stunk like they had been bathed in perfume! They are Shetland Sheep Dogs, so they have a lot of fur to trap in smells! In a very short time my house stunk and I had a migraine. This lasted for days! I have used Simple Solution for years, but even it has scent in it. I decided to try POOPH and had it same day delivered. First I sprayed it on my hands knowing that if anyone was going to be allergic to it, it would be me. And my skin didn't react with a rash! So, I sprayed it all over my fur babies, and I could tell instantly that it was going to work. I sprayed some on a wash cloth to wipe their faces so I wouldn't get it into their eyes. Then I sprayed everywhere they had slept; on their beds, the couch, and the rugs. This was late in the evening, the next morning when I got up I could detect a slight scent on them, so I sprayed them again. I didn't have to repeat spraying it on the couch, beds, and rugs. I think the reason they still smelled a little bit is because I wanted to be careful when I first used it to make sure no adverse reaction would occur. This stuff works! I’m baffled by the bad reviews and am convinced it’s because of user error. I’ve used it four different times for four completely different pet odor issues and the smell was gone each and every time! The first use was for a cat urine spot on our rug. Saw commercials for this stuff, so ordered some to give it a try. For the first application, I sprayed liberally, enough to make the spot very damp. But the urine odor was still there when dried. Determined, I tried again. This time I removed the spray nozzle and poured Pooph directly on the problem spot until it was completely saturated, even the rug pad. I used almost the entire bottle. Then I grabbed something to prop/tent the rug so air could circulate underneath as well. This time, the smell was completely gone when dried. I believe tenting is an important part of the process. The second application was when my dog rolled in skunk spray. I liberally sprayed his fur, rubbed it in, and allowed to dry a bit before bathing him. For use on his face, I simply poured some on a microfiber cloth and rubbed it on his face. Gave him his bath and the skunk smell was completely and totally gone. The third application was when our cat peed on our couch. Huge spot, even penetrating into the foam cushion. For some dumb reason, I decided to try Rocco & Roxie odor eliminator because I saw it was the best seller and got better reviews than Pooph. Big mistake. I bought two huge jugs of it for $100. Completely saturated the fabric and foam, let it do its work for 5 hours, then sopped up what I could with a towel and allowed to dry. Smell was still there so I repeated the whole process again. It didn’t work. That’s when I turned to Pooph again. I bought the laundry additive version and threw the couch cushion cover in the washing machine with the Pooph. The urine smell was gone after one wash, even in cold water and delicate cycle. The fourth application was on a blanket/throw that was on the couch mentioned above that my cat peed on at the same time. I didn’t even pre treat it. I threw it in the washing machine with 4 oz of Pooph laundry additive and the smell was gone, first try. This stuff is amazing. I’m convinced it doesn’t work for people because it’s expensive so they try to skimp on application. Soak the problem area, people. It has to penetrate completely and totally in order to work. And definitely tent so there is air circulation. I use almost an entire bottle each time I use it, but it’s effective that way. My senior cat has been very unreliable with her litter box lately, so I've been on the hunt for a good urine smell eliminator. I tried enzyme cleaners (Rocco & Roxie) and hated the smell. This works great with no smell at all! As others have said, make sure to fully saturate the spot for max efficacy. A cheaper alternative to "Purrrfect Potion Catastrophe Remover" spray, which works similarly. I agree with other commenters that the sprayer isn't great, but it does the job. I will unfortunately need to continue purchasing this for my cat...but I'm glad I found something that works! ... show more

When I bought Pooph I wasn't sure it would work like they say it does. WOW, it went above and beyond my expectations. I bathed my dogs and later they went out in the rain, we all know how they smell after coming in. I got my Pooph and a micro fiber washcloth, sprayed it twice with Pooph and wiped one boy down and the smell was GONE! It wasn't masked with another smell, it was Gone, they smelled like I just gave them a bath again. I was impressed. I just bought my second bottle and will recommend it to anyone who has a fur baby. The title says it all, but I'll elaborate. I've been the proud owner of many dogs over the yrs, as well as running a successful dog boarding & Pet sitting business for over 25 yrs here in Phoenix. I've tried every kind of "Pet odor elimination" spray there is. Nothing kept dogs from peeing in that "same spot" again & again. Until now. It's not a cleaner. So, the key is to use a bacterial cleanser first (Clorox Clean-up is my go to for everything), scrub, rinse and lastly spray the pooph so that there's no detection of urine left behind. I just wish I knew how to make it myself as it's expensive! And, it just smells like water, with a special ingredient, that I need! ... show more
