    • Easy to get into; all around very nice hammock

One of my coworkers recommended this lounger. He couldn't stop talking about it. He is a large, portly guy and he said that he can get onto this very easily and it's comfortable for floating around and easy to store because all you do is deflate the two inflatable inserts at each end. I'm not large, nor portly, so my experience with this might have been different from the standpoint of getting on it. But it wasn't. This is a very nice product. I live in the sw desert where it gets very hot and dry and the material seems to be substantial and less likely to dry out and crack than other loungers. I use it every day and sometimes just sit in it sideways with the feet dangling and the floating things on either side of me. Yesterday my husband said: "get another one". I guess he doesn't want to watch me floating around in this if he can't float around, too. That's what I'm going to do. ... show more

This is fun to use. Depending on where you position yourself you can almost lay back and watch the stars or sit further up and just float around....great for pool or carrying tjo the beach

My son gave us one of these about five years ago and my husband and I quickly decided we needed another. We leave them in the pool all summer and they have barely faded after all that time and are still in perfect condition. The are small to store and don't cover half the pool surface if you leave them floating. You can even easily take them on vacation and they aren't intrusive in the pool. Best of all - these are comfortable! They support you well while keeping enough of you in the water to be cool. No plastic surfaces to make you hot or sticky - the mesh allows air and water to flow while protecting the inflatable portions from rips or punctures. Easily would work for larger and smaller people. I can read or nap on it. If you fall asleep, you do not have to worry about flipping over or falling off. Super easy to get on and off of and only takes a few breaths to inflate. I bought this third one because my husband discovered that you can use two at a time to "sit up" more or add support, put under your feet, etc., although one is more than sufficient. ... show more

I have found that the Poolmaster Water Hammock is the best way to relax in the pool. It is made of a simple waterproof mesh that is supported by the air pillows at your head and lower leg. I can sit astride on it or lay down and totally relax. I have enjoyed it for hours at a time, just being lazy and cool. It is very stable when you are laying down and I feel totally comfortable reading a book while in the water. It is well made and, if you put the air pillows into their pockets BEFORE you blow them up, they are a breeze to insert. You'll be enjoying it in the pool in minutes. ... show more

Replacement for an older set of these was not to be found in the stores. I was so happy to find these online. They are very comfortable as the plastic end floats are covered in the mesh. I don't deflate these except in winter but they roll up small so they fit in my deck box easily. They can be used in many great positions but I love them to sit on as a sling chair when I am cleaning the upper walls of my pool. getting the plastic floats in initially is a bit of a pain but they are so superior to other floats that I still gave 5 stars. the larger floats that do not fit in the deck box get really dirty fast. ... show more

    • Fast Shipping but defective air tube!

Amazon shipped two of these water hammocks in just a couple of days with free super-saver shipping. I sent them to my son in Phoenix for his new pool; we went to visit that week. I was very disappointed that one of the air tubes had a leaky valve (or maybe a leak elsewhere, we never found it). What a hassel! I flew back home after our visit and did not have time to return it to Amazon, so I guess it is a total loss. The hammocks are comfortable for floating in (not on top) of the water and nice for hot summer days, but I prefer the old ones I had with styrofoam head and foot floats - even though they were not as soft, they worked very well, lasted for years and never a problem with leaking! It is also a pain to insert the air tubes and blow them up inside the hammock end-pockets. ... show more

I purchased two of these after using one at a friend’s pool party (all adults). The ends of them have a blow up tube that keeps you afloat. I’m 185 lbs 6’ tall and these are comfortable and work well. I like these because you can sit in the hammock (like riding a horse) and you can float upright while enjoying a beverage and talking with others. I've had these for only a short time but based on their construction, they would appear to hold up well against chlorine, UV rays, and our teenage kids. If I get a full season from any pool accessory then I think we've gotten our money’s worth. However, these might make it through a few summers.
