This INTEX unicorn is a beast! The vinyl is much thicker than the cheap "drugstore" floats, and the dual heavy-duty handles make it much easier to climb on and off without tipping over. The colors are incredibly vibrant and haven't faded even after a few long days in the sun. It inflates quickly with a standard pump and really "levels up" the vibe of the pool. If you want a float that actually lasts more than one weekend, this is the one to get.

Bought this pool float for my grandchildren and it was actually a lot bigger than I had realized. It is huge! My grandchildren are ages from 2 to 8 and we had four grandchildren on this float going around the pool. It was very easy to inflate, we used a pump since it is so huge. It is so colorful, and nice that the body is flat and several could all get on it at same time, even an adult got on it and it held up. It is excellent quality and a great price. I highly recommend this.

I purchased this for a community event with a giant slip and slide. Our field is rather bumpy and so I purchased several air mattresses as well as a couple big fun animals for the kids to slide on. This unicorn (or, rather, "alicorn" as every precocious young girl at the event corrected me) was large enough for kids to double up on. PLUS, it held up when adults up to 250 lbs ran and dove onto it on the slide. I was impressed for the value! The outer chamber does take a long time to inflate, but that's what you get when you purchase an enormous alicorn floatie!

If you're seeking the largest version of the Unicorn pool float this particular one is not the largest. I've purchased larger than this one from other vendors. This particular size is large but certainly not the largest. As for durability, well, Arizona Monsoon season with dust storms, 30-50+ mile winds, etc., doesn't allow a lot of durability if the pool floats aren't put away during the days when not in use. I've had to replace our pool floats at least every year. I may get lucky, and one pool float may last 2 years. In my opinion this pool float is a great size for younger children. If you're a bigger adult over 6'0 feet tall then you may need to get the next larger size. We mainly purchase pool floats for aesthetic purposes. I prefer the largest Unicorn available, but this will do. Comfort is great, colors very vibrant. Kids should enjoy it.

Apparently Ralph is an alicorn, which is the name for a winged unicorn. It took a while to blow Ralph up, which was expected because he's pretty large. The location of the fill nipple, or whatever it's called, is amusing. My girlfriend took a photo of me inflating it, because it looked like Ralph and I were having an intimate moment. Since girlfriend endorsed it I guess we're a throuple now. Riding Ralph was a little problematic. I think maybe the inner area is too inflated, so it's making Ralph unstable and apt to tip over. I tried to pull the fill nipple out for the inner area (Ralph has two nipples like any respectable gentleman), but even my nimble fingers couldn't excite his nipple enough for it to pop out. Some needle-nose pliers should do the trick and show him who's boss. Overall I'm very pleased with Ralph. I'm not sure how he feels about me, though.

I bought one for me and one for a friend. They're so eye catching that when we took them to the lake everyone loved them and started looking them up on their phones to purchase they're own. They're a bit difficult to get on them at first, but that could be just us and being klutzy. Highly recommend using a pump for them. They do take a while to pump up, but the fun to be had is worth it. Fits a couple of small children or one adult comfortably.

Read thru the reviews regarding the difficulty of staying on and I disagree; if you want to stay on your can but if you want to have a bit of fun and bounce around on it, then yes, it’ll flip. We’ve only used once, as it literally just arrived, but we were all able to mount if from the pool (minus my 5 y/o). Not sure how it will hold up thru the summer but at <$20 who really cares?? Oh and someone mention that it could suffocate someone is flipped. Well, not sure now that could happen because when it flips, the the head of the unicorn creates a tent like space above the water. All in all, I’m glad we purchased it!

This thing is huge - my wife got a kick out of watching all of us, including teens and adults, try to climb on top of it without falling off. The best result was lifting a child or teen on top of it. It's more of a novelty toy than something you expect to last. Being as huge as it is, you need a pump to blow it up. Don't try blowing it up with your mouth unless you like being lightheaded and blowing for an hour. It lasted for a few days - probably burst a seam from an adult trying to climb on top of it.
