Right out of the box float has leak in seam and lets water in. Patches will not hold where it it located. It is somewhat awkward to inflate. There is no traditional air valve for using a hand pump or air compressor to fill. You need a blow dryer or an air pump. I pictured it thinking it would be a nice couples float but, it's too small for 2 adults to lay out in as pictured. You can get two average sized adults in it but there will be no separation between you. Good sized for one adult. Update: Seller reached out and sent replacement product. This one has no issues. Comes with patches and a rope, packaged nicely, easy to inflate, and pretty comfortable! Love mine! Just make sure you fill it up with a lot of air if youโ€™re using it on the ground. Otherwise it wonโ€™t be so comfortable.

We thought about putting in a pool when we first moved in but we're already on a lake. The lake is sunny but the back yard is not. In the lake there are turtles, catfish, snakes (probably), and possibly sharks and aligators (not really but I have an active imagination). I don't go into the ocean except to p. There is also a lot of pollen in the lake and I'm allergic to flipping everything so, no thanks. I don't write reviews usually but here's one of my new air mattress, float, tanning bed, raft within a little boat. I spent an hour in it this afternoon. Here's what I like about it... 1. It's a lot smaller than the blow-up pool I had the last couple of years which is a good thing. 2. No chemicals needed because I can change the water everyday if I want and I can actually get my hair wet since no chlorine needed to keep the water clean. 3. I have two nearby hoses. One on the deck and one in the back garden which both easily reach without even unrolling them more than 20 feet and they are filled with hot water from the sun. Between the two hoses, this gives me hot bath water, which is too hot but at least I'm not carrying a bucket of hot water thru the house as I was expecting to do before I thought of the hoses. When the hot water is gone from the hoses, obviously it's followed by cold water which makes the water temp perfect. I like my pool about 80-85. It's not supposed to be a hot tub but I also don't want to hate getting into it because it's too cold and no, I don't want to have to "get used to it." I'm 64. I'm too old and spoiled to get into a flipping cold pool. Forgetaboutit. 4. The cover from my last pool is way large enough to keep bugs and coons and rain out when not in use, and I can tuck the edges under since it's for a much larger, heavier pool. 5. I can slowly get a nice little healthy tan while in water which is good for us sun loving flowers. 6. Drink holder. 7. Less than $40 8. No turtles, no catfish, no snakes, no sharks, no gators, no pollen. 9. It's right outside my back door ๐Ÿ˜ƒ Here are the cons: 1. Have to have the husband blow it up with air compressor but hopefully, I will only have to do that once a year so no big deal really. This could also be a pro. It's just that I would've done it yesterday but he wasn't home and neither was the air compressor. I did try the hairdryer and that does not work without some kind of attachment or unless you have two people. 2. It's not that comfortable when laying on your stomach. In fact, my back hurts now. It was only the first day. I'll figure out a way. 3. It should be made a foot longer. Overall: It's awesome. I just don't want to drop my earbuds into it. ... show more

West coast Flordidian here! Wanted to be able to float around the pool even when the water was too cool. This float is awesome, with a couple of annoyances. I would give a 5-star without them! #1 - does not hold air in the bottom section. Have to fill it back up EVERY SINGLE time. (Maybe it's just a faulty 1-way valve)??? #2 - the cup holder is small. Thankfully I have a few cups that do fit. If a change was made, I would suggest a cup holder on both sides. (1 for water, 1 for a drink lol) ๐Ÿ˜‚ . It's amazing how well the Inflatable Tanning Pool Lounger Float works! It would be nice if it were a little bit longer, but the size isn't really a problem for me because I think an average-sized person could wear this with no problems at all. Because I am a bit taller than most people, I find that it is easiest for me to simply hang my legs over the edge of the pool. My personal preference is for the blue version that this company makes available, but I went ahead and placed an order for the green one because it has a reflective base, which does appear to be beneficial while tanning. It really just depends on the day which way I feel like using this item, whether with or without water. Even though I'd love to have an actual pool to relax in for a few hours, I've found that lounging on the grass in my backyard is an excellent alternative. The procedure for blowing up was very straightforward. I just bought another manual pump from Amazon because I was unaware that this company offers an automatic blow-up pump at a discounted price when ordering with a floaty. The manual one works wonderfully, and it exploded much more quickly than I had anticipated. My only problem was that I couldn't get the inflation valves to close properly, but a relative of mine had no such issues, so it's possible that the problem was only with me. Although I adore the float as a whole, there is one aspect of it that I do wish could be improved, and that is the pillow. My only wish is that it was transparent or reflective like the rest of the float. Even though it is comfortable, you won't be able to get a good tan on your neck if you wear it because the way it is designed casts harsh shadows. This problem can be solved by simply removing the pillow or by turning over occasionally (which is what I did), but this is just a suggestion. Flipping over occasionally is another option. I can understand why the company decided to make it a solid color rather than a clear one because a clear one would not be as appealing to the eye of a customer. In either case, a fantastic product! 10 out of 10 for me, and I will definitely be making use of this throughout the rest of the warm Summer days. I highly recommend it to everyone.
