Absolutely love this hoop! We bought it for 4th of July and it was definitely a hit, I just wish I bought it sooner! I love that it’s a full size hoop with a real ball. It makes it easy to shoot from anywhere in the pool. A little bit of wind won’t alter your shot at all. It can handle trick shots, dunking contest, and deep 3 pointers. The only thing that was a little frustrating were the assembly instructions. There were no written directions, just poorly drawn pictures. But with a little bit of determination and some help from family we were able to get it done. That being said, this is a great, REAL hoop and definitely great for the price. If you want something durable enough that adults can enjoy, look no further. (P.S I purchased the red white and blue net separately) ... show more

    • Good little hoop.
Pretty good, fairly sturdy, somewhat difficult and involved to put together. Once it's up it's great though! Kids have loved playing with it. It's lasted a month just fine so far. Just make sure you put the hoop on the right way. I can't remember if it wasn't clear or we just assumed that the base would go under the hoop. That makes sense for a regular hoop but in the pool you want the hoop to hang over the edge of the pool so that it drops in and no one risks a head or face (or tooth) injury slam dunking. The base is the counterweight and the hoop should be able to extend over the edge of the pool. Oh and you might want to get some sort of net to catch all the missed shots, or stock up on extra balls if you don't want to get out constantly to retrieve it!! Super fun for the kids, pretty good value as it's one of the cheaper options out there. Great size, functions well. ... show more

I know everybody raved about this product for the pool, but it didn’t last us but one month it started to rust. The plastic on the backboard is sticking out ! Don’t waste your money and we only used it a few times I only purchased this because my kids wanted something a little taller so we could keep it in the shallow end but unfortunately this didn’t work out in this product. Just seem to be a waste of money and just so you know nobody ever hung on the hoop. ... show more
