My family got good use out of this pool basketball hoop. It sits on the edge of the pool which is what we wanted. It does not float in the water. After a few months, the rim eventually broke from aggressive use. Overall, it was a good hoop and lasted longer than I expected.

We bought this for our teenage son and his friends to play in the pool. I realize they are teenage boys, so they probably weren't the most gentle but it broke within 3 uses. The rim snapped off in half.
