    • Packaging wasn’t great
The roof is a little flimsy on the boat and packaging wasn’t very good when we received it. Ours was broken once it arrived but we didn’t have tile to exchange and we’re able to attach it with superglue without it being noticeable. It is a cute ornament for the price.

Every year I like to buy an ornament to signify something that has happened during the current yr. As my husband has had some medical issues for the past few yrs., we have done a dr. stethescope and such. This year on a more positive note, we have been privileged to have friends who have a wonderful, huge pontoon boat. They have invited us on several trips down the Rainbow River in Fl. plus the Hillsboro River. They usually cook out on a grill and we do a little fishing. Food always tastes better in nature. We have had wonderful times on their pontoon boat. I bought 2...one for them, and one for us.When I mentioned to my husband about wanting to get a pontoon boat ornament I never dreamed I would find one. Cute ornament. Although it was packed in a reasonably sized ornament box and then that box was put in this giant Amazon box. So a bit over kill. The product itself is just like the photo. Heavy, high quality, no glitter or sparkles.

We actually used this as a cake topper for a lake themed cake. It was the perfect size and looked great!

    • Poor packaging and quality control
I should have paid more attention to the poor reviews. The shipping box was sturdy and undamaged, Inside was the blowup bubble packaging that did its job in protecting the contents. The problem was the ornament not being in its own small box like Hallmark does, it was very very tightly wrapped with the standard small bubble wrap packaging, then tightly wrapped in shipping tape. The ornament itself as packed would have withstood a two story drop out a window with little to no damage. It appears to me the damaged was caused while being to tightly wrapped in bubble wrap. The motor was snapped off and the canopy was crushed (bent) and broken on one side. I was able to fix with gel super glue. What I can't fix is the extremely poor paint job. The trim paint isn't even on the trim of the boat, it seems all the detailed paint is not aligned to the area where the paint should be. Poor quality control from start to finish. This was meant to be a gift that I don't think I will give. I'll need to repurchase elsewhere. I would not buy this product again. ... show more
