I didn't pay attention to the measurements of these shelves. They are narrower than I need. I'm impressed by how quickly they came and the ease of installation, the sturdiness of them. These would be great for decor or use with lighter items. Unfortunately these will not work for me so I have to send them back or keep them and use them somewhere else in my home. Had a bit of trouble installing it, but it was alos my first time installing something like this. The second one was easier to put up compared to the first one. Definitely doesn't hold more than 10lbs but can confidently say it'll hold up what is pictured and maybe even adding a candle. I bought four different kinds of floating shelves I actually bought two sets of these white shelves and I put up most of the other shelves and they worked out fantastic the supports that are anchored to the wall stick out so far that when you put the shelf on the brackets they're super strong and then I open these white shelves and they want you to anchor a screw into the wall and leave the screw sticking out about a quarter of an inch and just dangle the shelf on there and that would definitely not support any weight don't buy them unless you like cheap subpar crap ... show more
