We have a smallish pond and I didn't think before buying this monster. It works great, was easy to install and seems to have a good build quality. But 2300 GPH is a lot of flow, and not calming at all. I'm giving it a five star review because it does what it says on the tin, but if you have a smallish pond (maybe a little bit bigger than a large Jacuzzi bathtub) with a 3 ft waterfall, maybe go for something smaller if you want any relaxation. This pump really delivers the flow I w anted. I was expecting more options for connecting hoses and a way to adjust the flow. But it’s not available with this pump.

Followed many plans for building one's pond filter device, and my only regret is that what Ii purchased is too powerful for the size of my pond. (150 gal tank) Had no choice but to revamp all and use PVC and valve to control water flow. Without that, the water came out way to strong. I'm very pleased with the pump, and though it moves too many GPH, that is better than a weak flow. ... show more

This pump is designed well fitting easily to two filters using an optional 3 way connector. Pump has cover around and a netted bag preventing clogging. It is strong and works well
