First of all, I haven't had these long so this is really a first impression. Time will tell as to how well they will stand up to the weather, but a 20-year guarantee does provide some significant reassurance. I'm sure the company would not offer this kind of guarantee unless they had real confidence in their product. These arrived in several pieces and had to be put together. Assembly was easy and requires only two tools, one of which they provide. You only need to bring a 7/16" wrench to the job. Careful assembly took me less than 30 minutes. One person can easily do the job, although it's helpful to have 2 when putting the back of the chair on. Everything fit together well. After using the chairs for a bit the screws will need to be tightened. This is normal. One of my chairs arrived with no hardware. Bummer. I was really looking forward to getting both set up. I contacted the company by email and they responded the next day and shipped the needed hardware. A pain, I know, but the company couldn't have been more responsive. So hats off to good service. As to comfort, I really like them, but be aware that you do sit more upright than is typical in an ADK chair, at least from my experience. One problem from ordering online is that you don't get to try out the chair for comfort before buying. Personally, I like a somewhat more upright position. Don't get me wrong, it's not like you're sitting at a right angle or anything, just that it's a bit more upright than other ADK chairs I have used. That's my first impression. Just assembled it, about a 5 minute assembly using a drill driver ( NOT a drill) and a 7/16th wrench. Seems to be of good quality and is comfortable. I’m thinking it should have a few more screws for durability. We’ll see how it holds up. Recommended purchase.

18 months in, and these chairs still look new. They have been sitting outside on our open deck in the sun and weather for 18 months straight and don't show any wear other than dirt and bird poop. Hubby says they went together smoothly. I don't remember any swearing so they must have gone together without any snags. They are more comfortable than the wooden Adirondack chairs they replaced which had been custom built for us. They are also much easier to care for. A quick wipe down with a damp cloth during pollen season and they are good to go, unlike the wooden ones which had to be re-stained every other year. Another plus is that we can leave these outside during the winter. The wooden ones had to be stored away. So on the days when the winter sun warms things up into the high 60's we have chairs on the deck to sit in and enjoy a cup of coffee. We have recommended these chairs to our friends looking for a similar style. ... show more

Bought two of these to replace some old worn out chairs. Arrived in a few days and the assembly was pretty quick and easy. All the parts and tools to assemble were included. They look really nice and are comfortable to sit in. I would recommend the rounded backs as these are more comfortable.

Absolutely the most comfortable Adirondack chair I have ever sat in! Went the extra mile and bought their chair pads as the thick pads took away all the comfortable curves. Worth the dough! We love these chairs! The are a little higher from the ground and are easy to get out of, unlike some chairs. Sturdy and hold their place in high winds! Extra bonus! We don’t have to stow them when storms come! I do stow seat cushions though.. worth the effort to keep them nice. Don’t hesitate to purchase these chairs, they’re worth the wait! ... show more

These are very comfortable though are currently covered in snow. Surprisingly easy to put together. Well made. Assembly tip: If you have a drill or good electric screwdriver with the correct bit (I went to the hardware store and bought for $2.97), it will be 1000% easier to assemble than using the allen wrench that is included. ... show more

Bought four of these originally a few years ago and love them. Ordered another and it must have been built on a Friday because it showed up with the pre assembled back piece assembled wrong, and I had to take it apart and redo it. Wouldn’t had been a huge issue except they use 2 different length screws, and I didn’t realize this until one was already poked thru the other side. Oh well, there’s just a hole in my brand new chair now. Love them other than that! ... show more
