I wanted to explore working with over baked crafts and thought this product would be great for a beginner like me. It can with various colors, multiple tools to help shape your art, and added jewelry/keychain accessories to put your art on. Aside from all the other things, I found that the clay does tend to soften up quickly from the heat transfer on your hands to the clay which makes it difficult for me to mold and keep its shape. Idk, I’m still learning how to work with it. Overall, I recommend buying this if you are a beginner and want to get a feel for it and I’m sure to is great for kids as well! ... show more

Excellent product all around. The included tools are all sturdy and easy to use if want to build your skill.     • Perfectly passable Chinese clay, great for kids.
You kind of know when you're getting into it that this isn't an artist-quality product. It's meant for kids or people like me who take up random hobbies when trapped in a pandemic. The clay feels dry at first, but when you work it a few seconds it's perfectly moldable. Baking to set it works well. It comes with a few metal accessories, some of which arrived bent or otherwise unusable, but I wasn't planning on using them anyway. For this price, it's a great low-tier Chinese product. I had fun. I bought this as one of the activities for my daughter's 9th birthday party. The 9 girls spent an hour making little figurines and such. While they were on another activity I baked them in the oven. The girls absolutely loved this and were so excited to take their creations home (as part of their goody bag). I have to say though that there seems to be slight fumes when you open the oven door after baking them and depending on how large the clay creations are they may take longer to bake than the recommended time. Wanted a little fun side project to work on and decided to purchase this clay kit since I’m new to polymer clay. This kit is great! Comes with lots of colors to design anything! Tools it comes with are basic and made for kids so if you’re an adult and want real cutting tools, you’ll have to purchase them elsewhere. Super satisfied with this though! ... show more

This was for a 5 yr old...and I knew it was gonna be cheap bcs it was one of those foreign products that had a bunch of misspelled words on the box and in the manual...oh well...next time buy Fimo or Sculpey, only name brand if I ever buy any again.

Ok, so to keep it simple... it's easy to use. Bakes up with no cracking... but let it cool before handling it. OH... and just a head's up, don't eat it. I know it was fun eating Play-do as a kid, but this isn't any ordinary clay. This stuff is gritty after being baked, and will do nothing but constipate you. If you do, your next purchase may be magnesium citrate... and that'll turn into an ALL-NITER! ... show more

My 9yr old son has really enjoyed this set, using his imagination to create different things including body armor for his Lego & stick bot figures. There is a nice variety of clay colors & tools. Would recommend this product, especially if it is the first time purchasing clay.
