Features

  • Natural Red Terra Cotta Clay -The raw material of this pottery clay is kaolin, which has a fine and uniform texture, strong plasticity, non-sticky and easy molding. Without adding any chemical materials, non-toxic, tasteless, environmental friendly and safe.
  • GREAT FOR CLAY CREATIONS - Formulated with a smooth consistency, our low fire clay is flexible and has extraordinary plasticity to be molded to your desired shape. This moist clay can be easily cut into small chunks for hand building, throwing, sculpting, molding and more!
  • How to Fire - For the best results, bisque to Cone 04 then glaze to Cone 06.
  • Easy to Use - Take out the self hardening modeling clay from the bag, knead vigorously and mix clays to the same humidity, then add water in small amounts to shape into whatever you want shape. Note: Please store the finished craft in a cool dark place to avoid damage. The kilns are not necessary, however, while choosing to air dry will be convenient, it will not be permanent and prone to cracking; if you choose to fire in a kiln, then glaze, and fire again, it will be prettier and last longer.
  • Please note that, like any dark, damp, organic environments, blocks of moist clay are perfect growing grounds for mold. The type of mold that grows on clay is not harmful (but maybe smelly), and is actually a desirable trait to many potters, as it acts as a natural plasticizer

  • Great Product!
Size: 5 lbs Color: TerraCotta
The texture of this product is great! Does not dry right out of the package like many others. Easy to mold!

  • Feels like plastic
I don't know what this is, but it is the oddest clay I've ever used. It's feels like plastic. It's like a non-Newtonian fluid. The harder you press, the more it keeps it's form and resists. It's "embryonic" memory is wild. It cracks when you wedge, when i cut my base too thin and tried to rewedge right off the wheel, it cracks! and is constantly thirsty. It holds it form like magic, and comes right of the wheel with no slip on your hands. It's so weird. I haven't fired yet. I only use reduction so I'll edit the review with an update. ... show more

  • Don’t buy
Size: 5 lbs Color: TerraCotta
Not for hand building, cracks and just terrible. Not like any clay I’ve ever purchased before.

  • 10 stars!
5 star product + 5 star Customer Service The clay is everything I'd expected with zero complaints. Texture and color were pretty much perfect and CS reached out with some very helpful advice on the clay and that's something above what most sellers will do, that was a very nice added touch. The Clay was prepped following the advice given and when it was ready it was so easy to work with and had an amazing feel to it. I normally prep my own clay from my yard and this was my first purchased clay that I've ever used and they have a dedicated Customer here. I can't wat to see what my Customers think of this new jewelry line I'm making from this Clay! ... show more

  • Not too bad if you're just starting out.
Size: 5 lbs Color: TerraCotta
This clay wasn't horrible but it wasn't the best I've used. For the price is was great and if you're just starting out making pottery then I recommend it but it was very hard to become pliable enough to work with. I did not use it on a wheel though, I used it to sculpt. But like I said, great beginners clay and good size amount for the price. ... show more
