    • Take Your Time
This was a gift for a friend and my son and I assembled it. We bought the 6x10 as she has a small yard. We both have experience with assembling such things so not our first rodeo. I say this as it has bearing on some of my later comments. Overall: My friend loves it. I am happy with it and think it will do really well. I'm pleased with the purchase General Thoughts and Tips: 1) Definitely watch and refer to the video as you assemble it. Follow the directions. There are a couple of places where there are some small differences between the 2 but if you follow either of them closely you'll be fine. It can be confusing at times.. things like which side does this fit on etc.. but take your time and it will go well. 2) Check ahead of time and make sure you have the right tools AND the correct sizes for the sockets etc. 3) Be very careful and do not bend the ridgecap.. the beam that runs across the top. If you bend it, it will lead to problems assembling several other parts. 4) There are plenty of clips to hold the panels in. We used about 8 for each of the large panels and still had several left over. 5) Try from the very beginning to keep the frame square. The Not So Good: 1) The nuts for the screws and the screws themselves are small and are hard to work with and almost impossible wearing gloves. The nuts seem to thread better using one side versus the other. Again, just annoying. 2) The screw heads strip easily so don't try to over tighten. 3) The metal parts bend easily so pay attention and try to not bend or let hang or stand on their own. 4) The edges are sharp and so it easy to get cut or get aluminum splinters if you strip the screw heads. 5) There are at least 2 sizes of screws and nuts and switching sockets is annoying. Why they did not just use one size for everything is beyond me. The above are just petty peeves and not significant issues. The Good: 1) Seems very sturdy when assembled 2) Great size and nice headroom. 3) So far think it's good purchase for a reasonable price. 4) It arrived faster than expected 5) The seller was very proactive and reached out to us in advance to offer help etc. 6) Everything was packaged well and everything was well labelled and there were no missing parts. ... show more
