This chair looks like weather gray wood a bit and is very comfortable. The height is perfect for getting in and out of. The poly lumber is thick and sturdy. The chair went together really quickly. We had it put together in under 10 minutes with a drill but it could be done with one person manually in not much time too. I have seen Polywood chairs and these are close but not quite as refined in the finish but for being almost half the price, it is a small detail and easily overlooked. This is going to be a great and long lasting chair from the materials that they used in the build. It comes somewhat assembled to where you only have a few pieces to attach to each other. It was super easy to get the chair put together in under 30 minutes. The only draw back I see in it is the support for the back. I t is pre-assembled however it flexes a little too much for my liking but that is just my opinion. The over all quality is that of the materials they are using on the decks that last for years upon years. No paining needed and very comfortable to sit in. ... show more

I have 16 Adirondack chairs by multiple manufacturers. This one doesn’t have and extra box for reinforcement behind the seat & it doesn’t have cup holders or an umbrella holder. It is however the most comfortable seating angle of all my chairs. It is also the easiest to get in and out of. I would happily trade cup holders for a more comfortable angle so I’m happy with this chair. I added a cushion for comfort and this is my favorite chair to sit in outside. Unfortunately my cat agrees and I can’t keep her off of it. This is the only one I own that’s assembled with just screws & they’re all the same size to simplify things. The parts aren’t labeled but easy to figure out what goes where. The two support bars that go on the bottom of the chair are different lengths. The long one goes in the front. This chair has some minor manufacturing imperfections as do most of these style chairs. ... show more

    • It's an Adequate Patio Chair
This is an OK chair. Not as sturdy as many of the other (and more expensive) patio chairs you can buy. However, once together it seems fairly sturdy. While it wasn't horrible to assemble, it was a pain. The instructions are not very clear, in particular to how some of the pieces sit, in other words, is it a left piece or right. They show them separately on the instructions, but the pieces aren't marked. Most companies would have some small stickers telling you which was which, but they don't. So, after a few minor mistakes, it started to come together. They provide a hexagonal allen wrench to assemble it with the provided screws. If you have a hexagonal screwdriver or drill bit you'll want to use it. The holes weren't all cut out cleanly, which meant I was "drilling" with an allen wrench. That's not the way to go. Once I remembered I had a multi-tip screwdriver with the appropriate tip, it went much more quickly. It's a shame the screws aren't darker. Once you finish installing all of them you have these bright silver screws along each side....it would be nicer if you didn't see them. At the price this is a decent chair. Just be careful and patient while assembling. ... show more
