The flute comes in a nice soft case. Went together without any issues, and sounds okay- as far as I could make any sounds come out of it as an absolute beginner. Looking forward to the day I can make nice sounds with it. This is, in my opinion a great instrument for a complete beginner. Once upon a time, I purchased a beginner flute online through eBay for a similar price, and I was VERY disappointed in how it came. So I was skeptical about this one, but decided to try it as I would like to learn the flute as a secondary instrument. This flute arrived quickly and was packaged well. You get everything you need in this package to get started. You get the flute, a carrying case, cleaning rod, handkerchief, a foldable stand, grease, a screwdriver, carrying strap, end caps for the headjoint and body of the flute, and white gloves for playing in a band. This flute shipped with little foam wedges under the keys. This means the keys were held down securely so they would not sustain any damage. The flute was playable right out of the package. I would highly recommend this as a beginner flute for anyone looking to learn to play. This is a great value and should take you far with care and proper maintenance. ... show more

    • Cost Effective and Incredible Sinewy Flute with a Lot of Power

The media could not be loaded. The Poyolab 16 key flute is a very nice piece of instrument that carries a good Volume of sound. It is Sharply well made with Stunning Flexible keys to perform with Clear and Precise notes. I have never played the flute before but is quite fond of instruments. My favorite is still the harmonica but I thought I would give the flute a try. This Flute is a wonderful Cost-Effective piece that beginners or anyone that wants to begin again playing the flute at an Affordable price. This alone is the best reason for this flute. However, if you want to continue playing the flute in a more advance level like becoming part of music group. You might consider buying something at an advance level at that time. This Flute sounds really good and anyone would have tons of enjoyment with it. I do think they should include a book that explains more in details about the operation of the flute. Beginners may not understand how to use it. Flutes is a wind instrument which means it requires a lot of air to operate effectively. I would start by blowing into the mouth piece first without connecting the other tubes to get a fill of air passing through the tube, then I would press the palm of my hand over the end of the mouth piece tube to start making sounds. Once I got used to this I would then connect the other parts of the flute. I would say if the flute is not making a good sound it could be that you are not blowing into it right and letting too much air out of your lips. Also I would check the needles on the flute to make sure one of them have not popped out. There should be needles on the flute behind the keys that look like a straight pin and if one is missing you have a damage flute. Also I would make sure the tubes are aligned correctly. The mouth piece should be aligned with the keys of the body and the foot should be aligned by the ball on the first key of the foot to the last key on the body of the flute. Also you need to remove the sponges under the keys. But practice makes it better. I'm still learning myself and just now getting it to blow the notes. So be patience and practice.
