First off...I bought this with a mattress topper and they both came vacuum sealed into a compacted plastic wrap. I was wondering if it would have a scent when I opened it and it did not. There was no scent at all. The duvet insert has a cover on it that is so amazing to feel......soft, smooth and opulent.......I was so pleasantly surprised. It is excellently made and, after giving it a fluff in my dryer, I put it inside a cover and on my bed. Sheer heaven! It is lightweight....as soft as can be, and has ties to attach to a cover to keep it from sliding around. The company thoughtfully sent me an email on how to care for it so it would last and keep its comfort which I really found to be a nice touch. All in all I am happy with the duvet insert. This came recommended to me and I will recommend it for others. It is that amazing.

It says it's all seasons but it's definitely for colder weather. It could be that my husband and I are hot sleepers but if it's 70° + in our room with this were both too hot. We accidentally fell asleep with the window open once, woke up and the room was 61°. We had no idea it was that cold we were nice and comfy under the duvet. I also like how this one stays in place in the cover. We had a lighter weight one from Ikea and I had to constantly dig into the cover to put the duvet back in place. This one stays in place, doesn't bunch up and stay secure. I love it!! Good quality too.

Fast shipping. It got delivered literally the next day I ordered it with standard delivery! Quality and color as advertised. Finding an all black comforter was hard. It seems that every time I think I found one, the quality was either poor or mislabeled with another material. It’s soft and lightweight, and it doesn’t get hot and sticky like other materials (micro-fiber). It isn’t as great as cotton, but it reasonably price. Worth the buy!

I waited and put it in the previously ordered duvet cover (butter soft and inviting, also fit perfectly), snuggled down with my dog to sleep. Made it two hours, rolled it off and kept it, but for the winters here, I think we may leave the windows open! (Arizona). Very warm, soft, perfect for my wife and I. Had this comforter for two years. Very nice . Washes well. Doesnt bunch up inside..keeps its form. Very cheap. Very warm. Great for both seasons winter and summer I mean. I don't use it as a duvet. Have it plain on my king bed. Fits any king bed and is cozy. My favorite blanket.

Being from the UK we only have duvets; I was skeptical when ordering this product. However, now it is on my bed I love it! Doesn't feel as though it is going to keep you warm, but it does! I will be buying another! I forgot how much I missed having an actual duvet.
