I was iffy on the 60mm rise but it’s perfect for my bike. The stock flat bar gave me numb hands on long rides and this puts me much more upright. Feels fantastic and more sturdy than the original, I just need to cut it down a bit as 785mm is a bit too wide.

I was lucky to grab one of those Intense 951s, but it turned out that the handlebars were just a little too low for my comfort. I was looking for a relatively inexpensive way of fixing that, and happened apon this Spoon raised handlebar. After spending about 15 minutes swapping bars and getting my cockpit set back up, I gave it a quick ride. At first it didn't feel all that much better, but I dialed in my Ergon winged grips and slightly adjusted my shifter and I immediately felt better. It was a night and day difference between these and the Intense handlebar. My riding position is now a little bit more straight up, which is what my back was needing and so far it has not taken away any of my mobility on the trails. Getting to the trail is now much better experience! I don't have to dread the ride back. ... show more
