Got this case for a week now and the first one has a defect where the clear screen protector was not glue on properly so it was not flush to the phone glass (there was a bulging area near the power button). Amazon send me a replacement and it arrived in 1 day and this one fits flush to the phone glass. In general, this case is ok for the price and the screen protector seems to work fine without any major touch issues. I have not drop the phone yet so I can't comment on the durability or protection to the phone and I am not going to try to find out by dropping the phone purposely. The kick stand works pretty good but I don't use it too often so I am not sure if it is durable enough or to last. My assumption is that the kick stand may not work after constant use cause the tab that click into place will eventually worn out so the stand will not stand in place, just my 2 cents. Update after 8 months of use, the plastic clear screen shows wear (some touch spots is no longer flat kind of warped). This kickstand as I suspected, the tags that hold the stand in place broke of and the piece where to pull to open half broke off. Other than that, I've dropped the phone a few times and the phone still works fine. ... show more

I will only buy these phone cases for every single phone I get. I have dropped them off 10ft ladders onto concrete floor. Not a single scratch!! It keeps my phone in perfect shape just like I got it a few days ago. I will continue to buy from this company, no doubt about it. I love how it is secure and sturdy to protect your phone. I had a case for old phone for a year without scratches/damage to the actual phone !! And I am clumsy as can be and I put it through hell. Compared to others expensive cases it is worth the money. So this isn't my first Poetic case. I previously used one on my Moto G7 Play for 1.5 years. Dropped it many times on a variety of surfaces and never broke anything. Screen protector works well including with gloves. For my last phone the screen tended to collect debri underneath through the front facing speaker hole so occasionally removing and cleaning was necessary. Poetic has now provided a solution in the form of a second front case without the screen cover so you can use your own or go without. But I must say I haven't found a speck of dust in the days I've used it. The port covers work but too stiff. I usually slice them off with a craft knife. This time I only cut the inside to loosen the hinge. Kickstand works fine. It's a reliable case and I plan to use it for all my future phones. ... show more

I got this a while ago. Let me say I'm very rough on my phones. I tend to drop it my phones at least 1x every day. This case has taken a beating from me and is still ok. I used the screen protector that came with the case. I broke that about 3 months in. But it did a great job protecting my phone. The phone is still 100% ok. This does make a very thin phone very bulky. I have had this for about 5 months and I paid$18. For the price this case is worth it. I don't know how waterproof it is as I've been lucky to not drop my phone in water only on the floor. But this case has held up to all types of floors. Even the cement outside. ... show more

    • The kickstand broke quickly
The kickstand broke so I had to rig it up so it doesn't open every time I pick the phone up (so annoying). I saw other reviews talking about this same issue.. Besides that, I have no other problems with it
