I have set my mixer and mic's up and now I need to know how to use it. The volume doesnt go very high so that is a concern for my specific needs. The writing is too small to see on some of the buttons and there was no tutorial in the box. No instructions came with the package, only a QR code. The QR code leads to a video that only shows, in fast speed, how to connect it, not how to use it. I googled and youtubed for further instructions but I couldn't find anything with clear concise directions and some of them wouldn't play. I have the insurance on this device with technical support and will leave an update here after I attempt to reach them. If all fails I will return the item. Squarock reached out to me as a result of this post and offered two options being to give a full refund for the product with no obligation to return it or they offered to send me an updated mixer at no cost. The I opted in for the updated mixer but the one they offered was not comparable to the one I purchased. I need 2 mic's to function at the same time, not just 1 so that wouldn't work. They refunded my money for both the product and the extended warranty/insurance for tech support. All communication was via email and when I asked to speak with someone on the phone they sent me a QR code for Facebook. They also sent me an instructional but was not for the system I have so I found the instructional I needed, printable copy, so I could learn how to use the equipment. That was the only problem I was having. I feel that customer service made a big effort to be accommodating and communication was an effort. This unit that I purchased, the buttons are hard to read so the manual comes in handy. I will print out a color copy of the face of the mixer and apply it to our studio bench so we know what's what. The only other problem I am still having is that I cannot get the sound to play with the editing software we use, PowerDirector Suite 365, one of the top leading editing software, and I already spoke with them and verified my settings were correct. Though, we have used PD for years and never had an issue with the sound. Everything is connected appropriately and the volumes are up on the mixer where they need to be. I have the most current sound card on my PC too. We use KRK Rokit 5 G4 monitors, top of the line, and everything plays correctly except through PowerDirector. I am researching compatibility issues. I have yet to hear back from Squarock. I'm sure once we get all of the kinks worked out it will have all been worth it. I will keep you updated. ... show more

2/28/23 Update What a Great company, after they had received my complaint, they went above and beyond to make sure I was satisfied and they rectified the issue. I will absolutely purchase again. Buy with confidence. If there is any issue, their customer service will work alongside you until the matter is resolved. VERY HAPPY CUSTOMER! 🙂 .............,................................................ I purchased this item 1.5months ago. I was completely embarrassed when having a live podcast and the board stopped working. I couldn't use any of the options and the Guest that I had was very important to me. The podcast kit is working well, however, I had one major issue with the clamp to the desk. On the very night of setting it up as I tighten the bolt, it separated the piece of metal, it was there I noticed this was only stuck with glue, this was a no-no. It could have caused me to damage the microphone and holder if It dropped. Correct this and weld that piece of metal, thanks. 2) Adding a step-by-step method video of setting it up and using it not just unboxing, which would be most helpful for beginners. ... show more

A fair beginner mic. The mount between the mic and arm broke on me pretty early on (it still attaches, it’s just very loose). The volume and gain are set very low and I have to raise a lot of settings on my software to change that. It’s about right for the price. Factoring in everything, realize it’s about a $20 mic. If you want a quick setup for a small project or to get used to streaming, it’s fine. If you want to make better hobby or profession out of voice over/streaming/audio work, then save up for a something with better quality. ... show more

The DJ Mixer was smaller than I expected, and the sound quality is okay. I was originally not that happy with my purchase, but the team at Squarock worked with me to answer all my questions and resolved any issues I may have had. If you are starting a podcast and you don't have a large budget, this is a great starter bundle to help get you on your way.
