I got this to pump diesel, kerosene and oil from mostly 5 gallon containers. It looks like a quality pump but it doesn't feel like it. It is light and I worry about its durability. I used it to pump some kerosene and it did prime very easily and started pumping but it took a lot of effort and I worry about the bung stripping out or breaking from the stress. Also it didn't seem to pump as fast as the claimed 13gpm. 5 gallons took at least 2 minutes. It did assemble easily and the threads mated and sealed well but once again it feels light. Maybe I'll be surprised and it will last a long time but for the price it just seems like it would have a more substantial build. ... show more
