My wife had always loved my in-laws' hammock, so I got this one for our back patio. She spent the first several weeks we had it working on her laptop in the back yard and loving every minute of it. Friends come over and quasi-argue over who gets to chill out in it and it's just a good product overall. Cleaning it is easy. We live in the desert with lots of dust, but we can put this in a large garment bag - similar to a lingerie bag - and wash it in our laundry machine and hang it back up to dry on the stand. For me, the most impressive part was how easy it is to assemble. I didn't even have to use tools and everything came together in just a few minutes. Definitely something I'd recommend. The only thing I'd suggest is putting a drop of super glue where the feet of the stand slide onto the frame to keep them from coming off when you move the hammock.

The title says it all - I have a good friend who kept telling me I’d love having a hammock on my deck for relaxation. But I’m a big big gal and I wasn’t sure I’d find one to support me that would be a decent price, and decent quality. I also didn’t want to have to worry about hauling it somewhere every time the wind picked up. I am very pleased with this one! Not only did I put it together in about 15 minutes, but I’ve enjoyed it almost daily and haven’t had to tighten or re-adjust anything yet. My daughter (6 yrs old) also loves lying in it and she can get in and out without too much trouble. I’m sure I look ridiculous on the entry and exit, but it’s so comfy once I’m in it that I don’t care - plus I live in the country so nobody can see it except my family! It is lightweight enough for me or my daughter to pull it into the shady spots on our porch. It did get blown around a few times in thunderstorms, but it caused no damage to anything and it didn’t receive damage, either. I have pulled the hammock off in the rain so far - but twice it was already soaking wet by the time I got it, and it dried without any issues. Two thumbs way up, and I’d recommend this to anyone looking to chill out and relax in comfort. I can’t wait for fall so I can have some blankies in here with me!!!!

This Hamic is good I only gave it four stars because I had a Hammock that had the bar that goes across and keeps the Hamic open and for me that’s the best Hamic to get but I chose this Hamic because it’s easy to travel with. I had to give up my old hammock because I couldn’t transport it after the moving people forgot it. If traveling is not your issue, I would go for the other kind of hammock that has the bar going across and keeps the Hammock open. If you lay in this, it wraps you in like a tortilla. So I sit on it. Also, when I was looking at which Hamic to get, I noticed some reviews had issues with trying to get it past the second hole. Mine is at the third hole. I got it that way by putting it on one side and then string by string, flipping it over the top piece, eventually all the strings are in place and it’s really tight and high off the ground. Also, I don’t leave the material out or use it and then take it off and put it back on when I use it again so I haven’t had any issues with the Hammock material itself. Again, if traveling is not your issue, I would go with the hammock that has the long bar going across and keeps it open at all times, and the rope kind my old one lasted for years and years.

So it came in today, and I couldn’t wait to use it. It was a rainy day outside, so I decided it was a sign, and the perfect moment to give this thing a test run indoors. After putting the stand together attaching my hammock and an estimated hour afternoon nap, I woke up and I am fully energized to write my review. I couldn’t be happier. It’s well made, sturdy, and adjustable for the hammock length your using. I currently have a Wise Owl Single Owl Hammock, the information the hammock came with says it’s 9’ long by 4’ 6 inches wide. Easy to assemble, and take apart for storage. The stand I received had instructions (one reviewer said theirs didn’t come with the instructions), even though I just watched the video from the reviewer on how to assemble (they should pay her). Another reviewer said the storage bag was a little small and it was a little bit of work getting it back into its bag. I guess they listened because the storage bag I received with the stand is big enough to easily put everything away once you break it down, and it had enough room for my nylon hammock to go in there as well, with room to spare. The hammock I received 2 Fathers Day ago with no where to hang it. Now I have the stand. Two years in the making of the perfect Father’s Day gift.
