I really wanted to love this device. I had read a lot about at-home microdermabrasion systems, and with PMD’s reputation and the premium price tag, I expected something that would come close to a professional treatment. Unfortunately, it just didn’t deliver the results I was hoping for. The biggest disappointment was the suction. Even on the higher settings, it never felt strong enough to provide the level of exfoliation I expected. I could feel it working, but it lacked the power needed to make a noticeable difference. Instead of feeling like it was deeply cleaning and resurfacing my skin, it felt more like a gentle vacuum gliding across my face. The exfoliating discs were another letdown. They removed a small amount of dry skin, but nowhere near enough to justify calling this a true microdermabrasion treatment. After several sessions, my skin looked and felt almost the same. I followed the instructions carefully, kept the device moving, and even tried different discs, but the improvement was minimal at best. For a product that costs around $300, I expected much more dramatic results. At this price point, I wanted smoother skin, improved texture, and a treatment that made me feel like I had invested in something truly effective. Instead, the results were subtle enough that I honestly questioned whether it was doing much at all. The build quality itself is nice. The device feels well made, the controls are simple to use, and everything fits together securely. It also comes with multiple discs and accessories, so presentation and packaging aren’t the issue. My disappointment comes entirely from the performance. I kept using it because I thought maybe results would improve over time, but after multiple treatments, I just wasn’t impressed. The suction never felt powerful enough, the discs didn’t exfoliate as well as I expected, and the overall microdermabrasion experience fell well short of what the marketing suggests. I had very high hopes for this product, which probably made the disappointment even greater. If this were priced closer to $100, I might have been more forgiving. But at nearly $300, I simply expected professional-level performance, and I don’t think this device comes close. It isn’t terrible, but for the cost, I can’t recommend it based on the results I experienced. ... show more
