The Barker Brothers (2 x GSD big puppies) have done thorough research on this toy and find that perhaps a smaller mouth and fewer teeth OR duller teeth would be better suited for it. AKA this is not exactly indestructible or really for large dogs. I will give props for this plush toy actually holding together through some pretty serious games of tug. The only thing really coming apart is the um... hair? Thankfully there are no super obvious squeakers that can be easily removed. There are a couple of punctures to the body, but nothing serious yet. I have only ever found one plush toy that actually held up to two large breed silly puppies' play habits. This particular toy has so far lasted about a week, which is pretty good, though I'd expect a bit more out of something described as "indestructible."

Is it really an onion, or it is an ear of corn...who knows?!? My Pugs don't and quite frankly, they don't care...😆 Ever since my boys received this, it's been their "toy of choice" and the first one they pull out of their filled-to-the-brim toy basket. They love the squeak and scrunch sounds, but the best thing about this toy is the engagement it promotes between the two of them. It's an absolute joy to see the "dynamic duo" interact and play together! Tug of war is their favorite game, by far. 😄 My Pug Boys seemingly focus on playing with this toy (as opposed to merely chewing on it), so the condition of it still looks like new; based upon the construction and fabric, however, I would not suggest this toy for avid or aggressive chewers. If you have two or more playful dogs in the house, I suggest giving this toy a try. Watching them interact and bond over it is pure joy. ❤
