Short spans aren't difficult to place. Longer spans take more time and effort to make sure they're straight. The plastic is fairly brittle and I broke a couple without much force. With soft soil, it will likely slide right in. With rocky soil, like my yard in Arizona, I have to dig a trench and fill it back in as I go. ... show more
