The almost silent operation is incredible; I forgot it was running until my dog's "wet fur" smell gap hit me. I love how small it is. I ferry it from my home office (farewell, stale Zoom-cave air) to the litter box room, and it does every job. The negative ions work quietly but forcefully; even my teenager's gym-shoe closet shed its biohazard status. This ionizer is a silent ninja. It's good design, but it may as well be: cheap, quiet, and stunningly effective. Ditch the candles and sprays; this tiny gadget is the air-quality boost your home requires.

I picked this air purifier because it doesn’t use filters, and I’m glad I did. Not having to order replacements or worry about mold makes things easier. It’s small, about the size of a thermos, and easy to use, plugs right into the wall. What I like most is the night mode. It runs silently, so I can sleep without any background noise. I also checked the power usage and found it runs on less than half a kilowatt-hour a day. It doesn’t have a PM2.5 display like some bigger units, but I notice less dust on the outside when I clean it, which tells me it’s working quietly in the background.

I decided to try this small plug-in ionizer in the corner of my bedroom since I was curious if it would help with the air The unit itself is small enough that it doesn’t get in the way, and it doesn’t make any noise that I can hear, which is good because I don’t like sleeping with machines that hum. I didn’t have to press anything complicated, just plugged it in and forgot about it. What I liked most is that it didn’t require me to do anything once it was on, so I didn’t have to think about cleaning filters or checking buttons. It just stayed on the wall and did whatever it does quietly in the background. I’m not sure how long it lasts, but I’ve been using it every day and it still seems to be running fine.
