I wasn't paying attention to what they are made of, I was thinking bamboo, but these are a type of plastic/ nylon, but they hold surprisingly well! I'm pleasantly suprised!

The sizes are perfect for stitching on your lap. I like to have a project that I can keep near me and work on without having to grab a lot of materials to start.
