First the good. My favorite console out of all prior generations and models aesthetically. Very well designed slim and compact, the power button and disc button is perfect. The color and overall small details are cosmetically great. If you havnt seen the bottom side its surprisingly detailed. I love it, it blends in and doesn't stand out too much. Performance wise its also great. I've noticed it runs quieter than my original ps4, disc games and movies read faster/quieter. The added optional 5G wifi or 2.4G is great, an option the original ps4 does not have. Now for the bad. The only downsides I've noticed is 2 things. 1. Installing any kind of update or game. My original ps4 also suffers the same problem so its probably a Sony issue. After downloading and it's time to copy/install it takes twice as long as the actual download did. Its very bad almost insufferable. 2. (This might only be my ps4 slim) If the power cable slides out a bit from the wall socket which it does due to bad placement. The system will initially boot into safe mode and demand the original OS be booted from a USB flash drive. If and when this happens the fix is to power down, unplug the entire power cable from the wall and console and plug it all back in then its fine. The first time was alarming as the slim launches safe mode immediately upon any kind of power issue or slight wiggle to the power cable. Overall the slim is my favorite with minor issues of my own fault and of possibly Sony not the slim. 5 stars but my personal score is 4.5/5 because of the install times on updates or games.

Our previous PSIV burned out after several years (>5) and wouldn't play any discs. At the time of ordering this one we were only able to use the streaming functions with our TV. Ordering this newer console coincided with the time just before the pandemic so it was great timing in the long run. We play a ton of games including overcooked, overwatch, silent hill. This set came with God of War which I have yet to start playing but loved the previous versions. This one was been running well. I recommend getting compressed air to clean the dust out of it and keep it running smoothly.

Great PS4 bundle! Delivery was quick and packaging was great, no rips or dents or anything so the console was secure. Set up was quick and easy with just the included HDMI cable and power cable. The games included are a good deal and I ended up downloading one at a time, Horizon takes the longest to download. Horizon and God of War were digital copies with the codes (they expire end of March) The Last of Us is a disc copy. This is a really great deal for the console, controller and 3 full games. You also have the option of a free 14 day trial for Playstation Plus (make sure you cancel if you dont want to be charged after 14 days) I highly recommend this bundle. We almost waited for the PS5 thats supposed to come out in November but that's also rumored to be over $500. We couldnt pass up the deal for the PS4 though and it does everything your expect from a PS4

I wasn’t sure if I should’ve bought this or not when I kept seeing people stating that the codes expired 3/31/2020 but I bit the bullet and purchased it. I paid extra for shipping and it was supposed to be here April 6th but I woke up this morning to a pleasant surprise! It was delivered today! That shocked me because the shipping stated Monday, not earlier nor latter. The box had a small dink to the right side but everything was in it including all the games, cords, controller, and of course the PlayStation. I was crossing my fingers that the codes work and it did!!! The codes in fact do work! I was so relieved and overjoyed that I was able to redeemed the supposedly expired Horizon New Dawn and God of War full game code. I really recommend this bundle just for the price of it all isn’t too bad since you’re getting three PS4 ONLY games that are pretty expensive on their own.

I own all 3 current gen systems (Xbox One X, launch PS4, and the Switch). All are great at what they do. If you're interested in PS4 exclusives, this machine is a solid choice. PS4 Slim runs quieter than the launch version of the hardware. The extra storage is a welcome addition. The included games are all excellent. If you're interested in grabbing a PS4 before its successor releases in winter 2020 you can't go wrong with this one (unless you want the added power of the Pro, in which case I'd recommend that model if you've the extra cash).

I bought a PS4 with some saved money and Christmas money for the main purpose of playing RDR2. I didn't really have much interest in the games that came along with this, but it was cheaper as a bundle than just buying the standalone console. Turns out, I liked GoW and H:ZD quite a lot. Haven't touched the other game though. My main complaint. Straight out of the box, the HDMI cable was dysfunctional. Upon start up sound could be heard, but no video displayed on the screen. This isn't the fault of the television (which is admittedly a bit "seasoned") nor console as I was able to get it to work properly by switching out the HDMI cable that came withit....with the one I use for my cable box. And while this is a good temporary fix, it shouldn't have been necessary in the first place. And consequently, my cable box's HDMI cable is taking some stress from frequent moving back and forth between box and console. An internet search shows similar problems with the PS4's HDMI cable being seen as quite delicate. Great system, but be prepared to possibly need a new part before you even start up.
