This kit is high quality and I am very picky! Allow some time to put it together in a leisurely 3-4 hours. We added wood glue for extra strength though it was probably not necessary. The parts are precision crafted and therefore fit together precisely:). The finished product is sturdy and absolutely adorable. Pros: -cute and matches my home decor -love the interactive lights, sounds, and ice maker that other wooden kitchens don’t have -a good size for smaller spaces -can grow with child Cons: -one of the wood pieces was cracked upon arrival and the quality is not sturdy/durable so I’m not sure how long it will last -took me about 3 hrs to put together by myself b/c the holes and screws wouldn’t line up correctly. I had to tape in the vent hood. Not sure I would buy again. More expensive wooden kitchen brands might be sturdier. ... show more

We bought this for my 1.5 year old daughter for Christmas. I looked at a lot of different options but I’m so happy I went with this one. It took my husband about two hours to assemble, he said it wasn’t hard, just a bit time consuming. My daughter loves the little buttons that make sounds and the working ice machine. It’s also the perfect size for our small apartment! She loves it and so do we! Also think it’s a great price if you catch it on a sale, which it seems to be on sale frequently. Once you get past the three days it takes to put it together, it’s hours of fun for your kids. From stainless steel pots to sliceable vegetables to lighting and special effects, and the ice cube dispenser, it’s all in the details. Everything you need to keep your kids busy and out of your own kitchen is here and for a super reasonable price. I personally chose this over others because of the overall appearance: it’s white (probably not a good choice for kids) and had an airy feel to it. It’s also fairly compact. Was excited for this kitchen but for the price, the quality is beyond disappointing. I have the same complains many other people do. The main piece came with a huge crack in it that was starting to splinter, pieces were missing pieces, missing screw holes, pieces didn't fit together flush (doors, stove), pieces were missing identifying labels, and the corners are SUPER sharp and dangerous for toddlers. Putting this together took hours due to the fact there were so many issues and we had to improvise. When I reached out for a partial refund to keep as is, Amazon rejected it. They told me the only option was to completely disassemble it and bring it to the UPS store... Which is actually a punishment for me, not a solution. I obviously didn't want to do this as it took forever to put together and I didn't want to spend all that time disassemble and then reassemble a new one. Amazon was zero help. After many many messages back and forth, photos sent, the seller offered me $15 back, which I don't consider fair considering this is a $150 product and there were so many issues with it. They know that it is a huge hassle for a buyer to disassemble and know it's easier for you to just keep, so they don't care that the quality is poor and they won't help you. I would suggest you purchase from a company with higher quality that stands behind the products they sell. This seller (and Amazon) does not value your time or money. ... show more
